into a full time midfield role? He has midfield superstar written all over him. If this move happens (as it should) then we surely dont need to draft another blue chip inside mid. Sparrow is an honest toiler but his development chart has flatlined , whereas Rivers chart has spiked considerably. Get him in, push Sparrow out. Then focus on drafting a Duursma, McKercher, Curtin, Caddy, etc.

you don't say 1m 'a year' when its only 1 year of a multi-year contract. It was 800k per year on average over the course of his contract. That was the offer. Othwerwise Nick Haynes is a 1.3 million player 'a year' lol
