Just the two changes based on teams
Bruhn to Worpel
Phillips to Hollands (on field) - Was 1k short of this move, hence the Bruhn to Worpel move.

What is my best option to fix McLean at F5.
1. Day down to B.Campbell + McLean to Flanders
2. J.Kelly down to LDU + McLean to Bruhn
3. McLean down to Henry + Ridley to McGrath / Callaghan to Bruhn
4. McLean down to Phillippou +Ridley to Young / Callaghan to Flanders
Really tempted to go YOLO on Braeden Campbell as a unique

2nd one your probably only real viable option, that won't hurt too much, IMO.
Solid base to build off, which shouldn't hurt me too much to begin with. Brought Cogs and Constable in by dropping McLean and Cumming. No idea who's decent in defence yet (Rioli looked good so will keep an eye on him), and not much difference in the move, so a nil all draw at best.
Jones and Constable could both fail, or they could both go decent. Either way, not risking much at that price. Barring any late outs, I'm done.

Are you really going to pay up for Laird then not trust him enough to get you >110 that Doc pumped out?
You're basically admitting you're overpaying for him if you make that call (imo).
Fair call but you're picking Laird for a full season whilst there's unlimited selections/trades prior to Rd 1.
Trying to get Laird after that is super hard even at 109.9 AVG
Just like Doch last night, Laird will still do Laird things I feel.

This is where I'm currently at.
Not overly keen on Gulden, Daicos, Constable and Bruhn. Only have $10k left. Think I'd prefer Powell to Bruhn - similar role, similar price, 1 has a huge pedigree in juniors the other is in my team lol. Might cull Davey to nab him. Other option is Constable to Jones gives me exact but then I own Jones.
Gulden and Daicos I only own for the high ownership FOMO. Any useful suggestions?

Ive had Tommy Powell for a while now, happy to start him especially with Phillips out. Seems like Clarko loves Powell so hopefully he can replicate that PS 80 during the regular season.
If you don't like Bruhn you can field Poo and go down to Uwland? $270k to upgrade whatever you want? Maybe Flanders to another Serong? With Freo's easy draw and Dunks in the forward line

I did have Serong and he looks like he scores ****ing terrible at Marvel for some reason and he was swiftly back out of my team. Don't think I want to add another rook on field.
What do you think of Uwland's JS compared to say Constable? Might be able to field Wilmot there and use the cash. Risky but there are so many defensive rooks lol Would be the only way I'd be willing to add a rook on field is for CC.

Yeah i'm in the same boat with the fielding a rookie, i was down to 3 at one point with a lot of midpricers but think im gonna just cop Wilmot/Uwland on field. 40-50 is fine i guess everyone else is scoring that.
We haven't heard much about Uwland over the last year, he was pre-listed so flown under the radar, was 185/85 when drafted, basically forgotten in a hyperbolic chamber for a year and now 188/89. Can't say i've seen him too much but his draft profile and his write ups are suggesting he's a mix between Brayden Maynard & Liam Duggan type of mould.
Named on the wing, so if he plays well i reckon he stays in. Levi most likely to get subbed i reckon.
As for Constable it seems, Farrar & Constable will rotate as the third tall, Hayward/Heeney match up as Graham was dropped. We play at Marvel next so no rush to bring in Graham when Wright & Jones will be covered by Collins & Ballard
Or...it's been signalled that Laird might cop some attention, and when he was tagged last year he was kept to 116. Still respectable, but not a mammoth score - and only 6 at more than Doch got last night.
Even if he goes 130, I'm still only making 20 points. You get a 110, you take it - regardless of the situation. Any captain choice could fall over, break their leg, be tagged to a 50...it happens all the time. I'm picking him for the season, not just for this game - and reached that conclusion prior to the practice match.
Re: your other post to JADED that follows on with the discussion, I've taken this game really seriously in the past, and as a result, have not enjoyed it at all. Not all of us are here to win the car, and some are here to just enjoy the ride and have fun - which I've vowed to do this year after a really shitty couple of years in life in general. If that means just 'having a respectable finish', then I'm fine with that, as long as I enjoy the ride and have fun with our community here throughout the year

Anyone scared by Rozee last minute?
Wines Drew JHF named on ball and Butters + SPP lurking around too for mid time. Surely they have to play him there given how good he was last year after the move but sheesh. It's a lot of bodies to cram in and he will play forward.. just about how much

I've been twitchy on him all pre-season - Ports best player by a street now and surely will cop some attention. It's how he will cope when that happens is my query. Got him because he is still value even with the risk for me.
