got my side sorted. Went with a few pods with 84k left over

Young>Daicos - mostly because of the better draw dockers have
McGovern> ridley - this is a contentious pick. ive got enough to upgrade to ridley and im 50 50 here. Gov looks fit and trim. with yeo down he'l be the mature bloke the side needs. hoping for 80+, should be good for at least 70. Plus no constable
titch - knows how to find the pill. at that price if he gets me 90+ each week im happy
setters - underrated and good draw. should get some good CBAs
cunnington + Baker > gulden + mid pricer - stability, decent potential aiming for 80+ from each. both had decent draw coming up too

Lots of PODS there and very unique. I like it.
I'd definetely do Ridley over McGovern as he's a better chance of being a top 6-8 defender.
The rest I like.

He’ll be a fairly good fantasy scorer one day, not sure if it’s going to come this year though. They want the ball in his hands, he’s a good ball user. I can see him having a good season, just not convinced he’ll breakout

36 degrees for North / WC game. Surely that impacts the likes of LDU and will need big midfield rotations so they don’t die before half time.

My final team (hopefully). Managed to spend every dollar so I’ll take that as a sign. Defence sucks, jhf questionable, wines had close to his usual tog in the preseason so hopefully he’s value. Many questionable selections but that’s how I like it

Second one has more upside but a lot more unknowns with the Daicos tags and Ess game plan

Similar story for Sydney on Sunday. 32 degrees forecast for the city, so likely a few degrees hotter than that out at Homebush where GWS and the Crows will be playing.

Look at the bright side.. if they can find room for a guy they barely played in the praccy match... then Constable could survive a little while yet.

I have the 2nd pair, so given my history you should probably avoid. Feel like at least with Ridley if he's stuck in his 70's scores, you can at least sideways to Yeo in the 3rd round when he should be back. Day needs 80+ to rise enough for it to be worth it

What do you see the CBA splits looking like? Wines Rozee Drew Butters JHF is a few mouths to feed

First 3 locked in the middle you’d imagine so I can see Butters and JHF needing to play half forward a lot

edit.. and Boak too who I forgot. Surely Drew is excess now

I think drew starts on the bench. Starting centre bounce mids should be wines rozee Horne Francis. Boak butters drew and Powell pepper all rotating through.
