The 3 Dees and Uwland all look dodgy for JS. Chandler had the best numbers in the 2's so he'd be the one if I had to

Have to pick 2 of Pou, Long and Bergman. Not sure which way to go
WC have a thing for Long I reckon. Brought him in after not playing in the praccy, and there's been a decent amount of hype about him over the PS.

Small fwd in a bad side though without any visibility on scoring ability. DPP is handy if he does become a dud though as can at least trade around him more easily

Chandler at least is in good team though

It’s a crapshoot though

Any info on miller Bergman?

look Like I’ll be running a less than desirable D8 and he would be in the mix with Uwaold and Mcbee (whose dpp gives flexibility esp as a restructure avenue).

Mcvre just feels a non scorer
uwald a total punt (but there now) and with no footy in 12months risk of red vest and likely limited JS

but I don’t know much on bergmans prospects/JS

Bergman scored 30 from 30% tog in the praccy which shows he could maybe do 60. Should be a better scorer than Long playing behind the ball. Like you no idea on JS

My m9 and f7 due to their security
Same here Davey mid bench Pedlar F7/8. Thinking pay up for next best JS with Pou in the other forward spot then Bergman the final rook in the utility

Bypassing all of McVee Uwland Chandler Long unless someone can make a good case for any of them

I'm fielding Uhland as a risk but can score apparently, I missed Hollands and Cowan tho

I also liked Chandler in the praccy so I've got him utility (wish he had dpp tho) 4th year so may be ready to step up

Worried about Uwland with Ellis Powell Weller Lemmens all returning soon. Also Humphrey back next week who I reckon is ahead of him

Likewise Chandler with Fritsch Viney back in a week or two.. you'd imagine it's him and Laurie straight out for them. His numbers do look the best of that group though and would probably go him over Pou if he had semi decent JS. Again would need a supporter to confirm

His vfl scoring was ok
I’ve got him there too.
His lack of JS makes me lean to uhwald (whatever his name is) over Bergman just for squad flexibility but that’s not a good reason if Bergman is the better pick!

It's interesting Sheezel has become the popular F6 rookie to field over Phillipou. If you look at their junior numbers Phillipou shits all over him for scoring.

Both will have shit forward roles. Not convinced he scores more

I reckon it has more to do with the opponent, West Coast - they are an easy team to score against. Coming from a WCE supporter lol

Sheezel has been floating at half back to get himself into the game. So higher ceiling from roaming at half back and goals.

Poo 15 touches 0 marks 0 tackles in PS game. should improve on that

The thinking is that Phillipou will be anchored in the fwd line due to injuries and lack of options for st kilda, whereas Sheezel was thrown to half back at times during both preseason matches.

Junior numbers are irrelevant IMO as Sheezel was played almost exclusively as a fwd due to being such a prolific goal kicker.

Maybe. Phillipou gives me a mid/fwd swing.

I'm backing him in instead

North have a million half back options and lack any sort of creativity up forward.

Wishful thinking he spends much time at half back I would think. We will see

I reckon Clarko will get him up around the ball and keep him in the game for his development and especially if the Roos are buried by half time.

Should have both for their job security IMO

I think the three on field rookies in the back line is definitely a play, with so many def rookies named.
I'm up to two. My concern is what happens if one gets dropped.

Yeah I reckon. Cuts out all the dodgy mid price crap back there. Ginbey a lock on field then raffle the other two between Jones, Wilmot, Chesser, Cowan, Bergman. Ginbey holds the key.. if it wasn't for him wouldn't feel comfortable going more than 2

3 down back 2 in mids and 1 forward
