Bauer can play a bit but has to be Banks. Coming in for Short I'd imagine so could be juicy. VFL form has been solid without being flash.. had 27 and 24 touches last 2
Yeah Banks is the one I’ll likely bring in next week for Chesser to fund a Redman or Hobbs upgrade

Need someone to talk me out of Himmelberg. Still priced at 70 and reckon he can do a repeat of last year where he averaged 100 odd after making the switch. Granted there's less junk now under Kingsley but he's taking most of the kick ins, has had a 150 in the same role plus the DEF/FWD dpp

Would be trading Day to him which gives me the coin for spud Lloyd to Serong. Tough as Day has North then us in a few weeks.. although that was a pathetic display yesterday I think he'll come good in those. At worst it should break even in points right? That would still make it a decent move
I’m bringing him and Parish in over my initial plan of Luggage and Keays. He’s played the last four games in defence so he looks like he’s finally settled back there. Seeing as they want to keep him after this season they’ll be playing him there for a while.

Even though Whit is returning he can be played on the wing, and Haynes was played there plus Cumming was shifted to the wing as well yesterday to accommodate him, and the forward line is doing well that they don’t need him there.

I’m more confident picking Berg now then I was 2-3 weeks ago.

They just took down Dees after rolling Freo by 87. Whatever they did in those 2 games they'd want to keep doing. At least now they're Leon free who'd no doubt find a way to * it all up

Indeed. It’s also pretty telling that he’s keeping that role and wasn’t shifted forward even though Taylor and Cumming have returned, and they would move them and Haynes to the to the wing like I mentioned before, and he was still there in R14 when Whit was in the team

Kingsley has a good system going and he’ll want to keep it moving, he mentioned a few weeks ago that they wanted to keep Berg in defence for the long term (and wherever he goes next he will be mainly played as a defender I feel) I initially thought it was just vague coach speak but he’s gone through with it. If the Giants can keep him and Ash they’ll be in a good spot.

so depressing knowing that I can't get Docherty, Sicily, Butters, Oliver, Serong, Petracca...maybe get only one of them if I'm lucky

After upgrading Steele this week, my last upgrade of Sheldrick will be funded by Johnson

Then the cash is finished. Chesser barely making any. Spudhi Uwland, Robers, Davey, Madden all dead. Harrison was the big hope but he's dead now as well and will actually start to lose cash.

It might have to be Steele to Mills instead of an "upgrade" and just hope for the best.

Break Mills so we don’t have to worry about him and just ride Sheldrick into the sunset

172k in bank
Any ideas ?
(Fyfe an obvious weak point, but Sheldrick is good cover at the moment).
Still unsure what my best move is this week.

Could do a double play of Fyfe to Himmelberg + then Young to Impey/Duncan but the latter doesn't seem like a huge upgrade.
Keen to continue having Sheldrick as a loop rather than an on-field lock in option.

Boring option is Drury to J.Williams + Fyfe to Mills/Cripps

yeah I am. Have to squeeze every last dollar out of both Sheldrick and Johnson

Harrispud/Steele > Banks/Mills gives about 260k for next week. Will probably have to spend most of that 260k to upgrade Day when he spuds again...to Sic/Doch probably.

Rd 19 probably when I finally upgrade Sheldrick. Hopefully he keeps up the good scores until then. Ideally he keeps going and ends up F6 so I can instead luxury trade HH/DC into another top premo I don't have

Luckily in the case of my team, Sheldrick is easily loopable for the next couple of weeks as Swans have early games. Would never risk running him on field as he will eventually drop a low score, he’s a rookie it’ll happen

I wouldn't be loading up on 4 players from an average team.

The only teams where it's ever paid off to have 4+ players from one team were the Geelong days with Bartel, Ablett, Corey, Enright, Chapman, Selwood etc and they were one of the greatest teams ever.
GWS dominated selections a few years ago, Kelly, Whitfield, Cogs, Taranto etc...

Agree, but did you check out Bauer's stellar last Qtr?

Sucks I can't get doch this week. Was thinking Dc and Lloyd to cogs and hh. Butttt, thinking ahead, means I can't get Sicily next week.

If I go a rookie down and Lloyd to sheezel (who I think can be d6) will give me coin for DC to Sicily next week.

Will loop Sheldrick on for DC if he goes over 90.

With the way Bailey Williams has been playing for the Eagles lately compared to his first half of the year, he would have been the perfect trade in if he was RUC/FWD, but he could be a starting pick for next year if he keeps this up, or an adventrous late season downgrade this season

Anyone keen to risk it all on Joe Daniher this week?

Im tempted

40 B/E and playing WCE
It would be an incredibly brave move and you could cash in if he drops a bag of goals…. But it would be very risky and after the nonsense with Jackson I had last week I couldn’t go there myself haha

Anyone else a bit toey with DCam's role? Was destroyed by Frampton (his role that is)

Pretty keen on HH with a low BE, guess I could wait a week and just get a dead rookie fixed with Bauer.

Got enough cash gen to get in Sic, Parish and English over the next three weeks. The question is, what order.

Trade 1:

JVR to Banks; and
M Johnson to Parish

Trade 2:

Briggs to English; and
JVR to any rook really, likely Maric or Hewett.

Feel like if I get English I'm just copying the rest of the comp and surely Briggs can return to at least an 85-90.

Next week will be Mitchell and Wilmot to Sic and a rook.

In a dilemma at present. Do I this week keep my last rookie (D.Williams/S. Mitchell) on the field and upgrade L. Jackson (who is going to bleed cash) to B. Keays or get rid of the rookies now.
