Keays might be the one bloke in the league who could actually suit as a tag candidate for Daicos. Big tank, physical and reasonably well paced (albeit slower than Daicos).

Might only get 120

Six weeks in, seems a decent time to get a gauge of how everyone's captains have been going. Only real mistake so far was not taking Taranto's VC score of 108 in round 2. Would have got my captain average up to 120.

Horrible as usual with captains. Dreadful start and now slowly improving with some VCs. Hopefully paying over $2m for Oliver and English in recent weeks is enough to steady the ship. But given the way Oliver has gone since I got him, the VC line is still 105+ for me

Okay, that one was on me. But I was jetlagged after flying back from Europe and fell asleep when I had the opportunity to put the C on a non-playing player.

Yeah I'm VCing Marshall based on this. Only very small flag is Williams did it against Teakle with Finlayson supporting, Dixon is back this week so might provide tougher backup.

Marshall into english or English into Taranto?

Averaging 117.2 with the captain, only just realised it but have run with Taranto every week. 4x taken his VC score and 2x bailed into him as captain (R2 & R6).

Was thinking about doing Rozee/Butters/Marshall into English this week, but given how reliable TT has been, and how I've complained about his matches often being early so it's VC on him when he's a reliable safety C, I reckon English into Taranto again this week. Problem is that my only loop options with Heath playing tonight are Chesser/Uwland, and to use them, I either have to not run Wilmot/Seamus as emergencies as they play early, or be forced with the choice of taking one of their scores in order to take a strong VC score.
