Thursday night games suck. Otherwise a decent enough draw.

Yep, we wont be making the trip down for a home Thursday night - suspect a fair few north of Caboolture wont either

Thursday games are a bit of a pain to get to from the Gold Coast as well. Usually too tired for work the next day after fighting off Richmond ferals on the train

Sure it stinks

But the wind, the surface, the sun, the rain, the opposition,the crowd, the ground size and shape didn't matter to our champion sides of 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Beating the bastards with all of that against us just added to the satisfaction.

If we are good enough, we'll overcome all that.

Since the beginning of the AFL era in 1990, non -Vic sides have won 12 of 23 possible Flags.

Lions three (2001,2002,2003 ); Adelaide two (1997, 1998); WCE four (1992, 1994, 2006, 2018); Sydney two (2005,2012); Port one(2004)

Sydney have managed to lose five GF's in that period as well. 1996, 2006, 2014, 2016 and 2022)

But as we all know....Sydney is a p***weak club

So relax.

Get to the GF and we have an excellent chance
