I thought Essendon might have responded after that embarrassing 100 point loss against GWS but it looks like they are headed for another one tonight.

The wheels have really fallen off for them in the last few weeks even worse than they did for us last year, if only they appointed RTB instead of Bad Scott

Could well be a Scott ploy to once and for all get Dodo sacked, not a good look for a team that looked to of turned the corner at the start of the season and getting floggings like this would only make uncontracted players want out.

That's what comes with Vanilla Scott. Haven't seen a more uninspired appointment than that in thirty years watching the game. 106 wins and 105 losses in his time at North. Couldn't get any more bland if you tried. Whilst Essendon were hiring pedophile ring leaders and Stringer's contract was based on how many kids he could find for them, Scott was sitting there like Bernie Lomax - a complete vegetable, puppet-mastered into the role out of sheer desperation by the Bombers.

With the circus that is the Essendon Football Club, bRaD thought nothing of it. They are made for each other, and under the cool Melbourne night sky we will pump them something shocking.

Imagine getting your hopes up with bRaD sCoTt in charge.

PS - PM me for more footballing wisdom.

Last three years Essendon players have wanted to leave. Then they play good footy for a bit, resign and are shit again. 😂 you would be so dirty playing at this club. Parish is gone I reckon

More likely Scott will be sacked, Dodo is one of the Essendon untouchables, the Bombers mafia boss Sheedy will be looking to knife him to get Hird back

Watching the Pies thump someone is yuck, but I’m glad - if it has to happen - that it’s Essendon it’s happening to.

Scott might just get himself sacked as well
According to some people not all's well at the club and as we know Scott likes to run everything and there could well be a few factors for the performance.
Why play players who are nowhere close to being fit - all well and good giving Tippa a fairwell match but really he is far from being match fit or Heppell who is just past his used by date.
Scott is the type of bloke who will prove a point even if it blows things up.
He did wonders with a aging list at North but he had full control at the Bombers its a different story.
Scott offloaded club champions at North that had more life left in them than Heppell who just signed another year contract.
Just seems strange - if he can't select who he wants in his squad he may well go out of his way to prove his point.
Is he getting a long with the assistant coaches - did he select them / expect more heads to be lopped off - Scott will get what he wants.

I'll bet he will get McKay as a free agent.

Trust Essendon to play Collingwood into form just in time for finals

This involves Essendon actually playing the game, that's debatable. Existence does not predicate ability or autonomy.

Pies are just training themselves at present.

Someone wrote if we win our first final, Mathaes would have been born raised finished school, drafted and won a final without Essendon winning one in that time.

This team has not won a final.in 20 years but get Anzac Day every year and Friday night R24.
The AFL is corrupt.

Could well see Sheedy out the door as well , when things collaspse like this something gives and by all accounts Sheedy was the only one that didnt want Scott and if Sheedy and the Dodo click are up against Scott , I back in Scott - he is fearless.

Remember that absolute weapon from the Injectington board who lamely trolled us before we pulled their pants down at the ‘G?

I wonder what happened to that smooth-brained hero…

Come back cAsEy_18, you absolute gronk. We miss you.

Bombers just aren't going to straight ditch the Dodo clique, that is scorched earth and Scott does not have that sort of pull at present. After all it was just 2 weeks ago that club brokers were "Mahoney and Dodo need to sort their beef out FFS" and Mahoney summarily got booted from his position as footy boss and Dodo chortled and chugged along to his next victim.

Scott has to pick that battle very precisely as the Dodo is not extinct and his chest is puffed and ready to shirtfront the next suit that squares up outta that club. This is just a "new" battle that might become a war at present.

Playing Tippa is the sign of a club with no standards.
Like when we played Sam Rowe.
