We were linked to a few options with our second selection, so while Di Mattia was one option, I wouldn't say he's the only one. And being a couple of picks earlier, there would be a couple more in the mix. Maybe Darcy Wilson, perhaps Koltyn Tholstrup. Think it's too early for Phoenix Gothard & Luamon Lual. Di Mattia probably my preferred though.

The Lions have pulled similar picks in the past, but each time you get articles or comments generally backing it up (I remember Lohmann, Bailey and Starcevich specifically as cases). Obviously there's some examples like O'Rourke but Caruso has done enough to get the benefit of the doubt.
