Watching the replay of Stoinis getting out (I have been taping it) the third umpire said his top hand (which the ball hit & wasn't connected to the bat) is connected to the bottom hand (which was connected to the bat) so he is out.

They were not touching from the front on view IMO, bad umpiring that luckily really doesn't matter.

No, if it didn’t hit the bat handle it pretty clearly, to anyone who has ever been in the same local government area as anyone with an optic nerve, hit the glove that wasn’t holding the bat.

Arguing otherwise because you got shown to be completely oblivious to the rules of the sport, won’t change that.
