3rd is optimistic for the Tiges, I'm not loving the signs of some of the older guys but it is very early.

Brisbane would have to hope round 1 was an awful outlier game if they're going to be good enough to be minor premiers. They are elite at the Gabba but I'm not sure they are good enough outside of QLD to finish 1st.

Melbourne look very threatening, as do the Pies and Cats.

Peter Wright out for most of the season, Stringer can’t get on the park, five of our last six top 10 draft picks currently injured and a GM of footy and Recruiting Manager that refuse to speak to eachother.

All things considered, the spoon would be a great result for Essendon.

Ive got the pies going 0-4 to start the season.

Long way back from there. The round 2 clash with port will be massive if they lose round 1, as they will be outsiders in round 3 and 4 against Richmond and Brisbane respectively.

Owens, Windhager, Phillipou, Clark, Coffield, Wanganeen-Milera, Battle, Hayes, Hotton. Plenty of bright players not to mention King and Marshall whose best is yet to come. They are not an old team by any stretch of the imagination with nobody seemingly on the verge of decline.

I'd rather have a crack and try and predict something ballsy rather than just reshuffle the exact eight sides that played finals this year like 3/4 of the posts in this thread

Good call Adz. Saints are September bound and a top four chance.
