gotta say, heaven help the next mro (cause christian's gawn) that slaps a blues player with a suspension and we can't find some sort of connection between him/her and another club, the afl board, dubious share traders or corrupt parking officers - whoever will we blame?

Ok I’m done for the night (exhausted following the Tribunal)

Time for some Netflix.

Behave y’all.
Rest well, we'll try not to mess up the place too much while you're gone...

I’m a bit shocked!

I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

IMO it was low impact strike but the potential to cause damage is there so fair outcome.

Sadly jack is so good and in great form, will be missed.

Hopefully we can advance to the next round and give him another final to contribute in.

Over 100 current or recent players including 6 captains have so far liked the posts containing Hamish Brayshaw's comments

That tells you what those who matter most think about what's happened.

At least common sense and justice prevailed with Martin's case.

It’ll be determined by how often we appeal and win, with Christian it’s very regular like after a dodgy hot curry aftermath

Biased filth get caught out quite easily in this game

couldn't agree more - I defy anyone to find a carlton player guilty at the tribunal..........ever!!

I knew Maynard was going to get off as soon as it was reported that, the AFL weren’t seeking any punishment and would wait to see if he was found guilty first.

IMO

Jack Martin - 2 weeks - 3 in H&A - for a swinging arm punch to the face of the ball player.
Van Rooyen - 2 weeks - 3 in H&A - for overlooking the ball and elbowing/forearming opponent in the face.
Maynard - 3 weeks - for carelessly choosing hitting the kicker and knocking him unconscious rather than bracing with arms out instead.

But really, i'm kinda getting over caring about these players if the AFL, past players, commentators and even most current players themselves don't actually care about players getting knocked out. They waffle, but whenever it comes to the crunch they nearly all fall into the dinosaur comfort level of "what else could i do?" or "i got lucky and the bloke didn't break his jaw, so".

So yeah, i'm rapt for us that Martin got the same lenience in the end as the other 2, but yeah, the AFL industry(including the players) can save us the sob stories about the ones on the recieving end. Because hardly any of them actually care.

If you can run 180 degrees against the play, jump in the air, take the other guy out, front on with intent & get away with it.

I wanna play footy again.
