Look at the picture. There's literally milliseconds in the contest for the ball.

Do these complete morons suggest that he should be able to sum up the O.H.&S. act in freaking MILLISECONDS!

Now this decision ladies and gentleman, is plain wrong. I must admit watching the game live at the ground on Saturday, and seeing the hit I instantly thought shit that's heavy Jy is in trouble here. But, BUT, when i got home and watched the replay (not slomo vision), it is clear for all to see that he does not lay his eyes on Christensen for one second and is only bracing himself for contact in a split second decision. You could also use two arguments in the tribunal-

1. That Christensen was actually concussed due to whiplash and hitting his head on the ground afterwards

2. The obvious one; compare it to the Burton one...

I use to respect Chrisso but he is a deadset *******! The campaigner has got no clue! Game is ****** with this idiot in charge of the MRO.

With Geelong man Hocking pulling the strings in the background.

I simply don't understand how a guys can line a bloke up from 25 meters away, knock him senseless but get off becsuse a head clash was an 'unforeseeable outcome' but Simpkin can go for bracing for impact at a contest in an instictive reaction when going for the ball. Its utterly illogical.

Simpkins only alternative in that situation is to not contest the footy, which being a footballer he has to do, so these muppets are set on changing the way the game is contested.

Careless not intentional.

How can any "duty of care" be taken from a front on contest of literal centimeters for the ball?

Are AFL players expected to exhibit the mobile triangulation capabilities of an elite aeronautical engineer?

This is the inconsistency I spoke about last week. Sandilands shoulder hit Durdin's head as per the vision.

Yet he got off and Simpkin did not.
You could argue this with the variation that Simkin was actually going for the ball, whereas Sandy legitimately lined Durdin up.

Farcial.

Typically the Brisbane posters who make up the bottom 1% of posters on BF for decent posts are having a field day with it on the umpiring board.

They basically have multiple "That's Wright"'s

HAHAHAH Michael Christian has lost the ******* plot 2 weeks for that and nothing for Burton.
The bloke needs to go to a retirement village, needless to say we contest it again...

I really can't believe it - its beyond laughable. I know we always say this but we need to say "**** you" and appeal. We need some ****ing respect!!

Who cares about a franchise that should have been put down 10 years ago.

I would argue the Sandilands decision and not the Burton one at the tribunal.

Stills of the vision show Sandilands shoulder hitting Durdin's head.

Burton they will simply say headclash and walk out.

The only question that needs to be asked is, what was Simpkin meant to do in that situation?
