Of course, now known as the North MRP loading.
Even if they say contact was high (which is marginally possible) the impact was low and the action was careless.

Honestly, it makes no difference to me if he's suspended apart from the point you make, which is that there is an inconsisteny in the way the AFL MRP operates, which is extremely frustrating.

Didn't he attempt to soccer the ball before the swinging arm?
I think you're right. He's just following the example set by his Captain, that being about 10 seconds behind :)

Deserves a holiday
Kelly?

I agree that he staged, but it's a fine for that I think.

JHF will probably cop a week, although going by the criteria of high contact, low impact and careless, he will be fined as well.

If the MRP cites him for more that that it will clearly indicate that they are inconsistent, possibly verging on corrupt.

UNDER the chin - big difference. Kelly grabbed his temple like he had been shot by JFKs sniper on the grassy knoll. He will get a week.
Nah, it was still his chin, under, over, doesn't matter, it still hit his chin. But like I mentioned earlier, Kelly was already heading in a downward motion so it could be graded as careless. The next part would be whether its assessed as low or medium impact.

If graded careless would it mean:

Medium - one down to a fine
Low - lesser fine

Medium would be one week. He was also fined against the Blues for his strike on JSOS.

Should cop two weeks

For not knocking that traitors head clean off
I just want us know where was Kayne?

Didn’t Noble tell us about his wonderful tagging job, yet Kelly was able to run free and dispose under no pressure on many occasions.

One of the worst hard tagging jobs I have ever seen.

It was almost laughable at the ground. The boys had clearly decided or been told that they needed to bring the heat to Kelly. He was constantly knocked over after disposing of the ball, gently bumped into and at one point I think Hayden may have thrown him a dirty look. Kelly's response was generally to laugh it off and go and get the ball.
As for Turner, he didn't even go for the ball several times when he was the closest to it. He was basically escorting Kelly around the ground.

From my view at the ground it looked as if Kayne was practising Social Distancing.

For Noble to praise that tag, was laughable.

Jason deserves a week. Shit act

Commentary team knew it was borderline at best on the day, proved when they started talking about how it should be looked at under "potential to harm" rather than the standard grading.

My question to others, if he gets a week(s), would the club going into bat and challenging it send a message that he's wanted? Or would it just be potentially pissing away 10k.

We would have to be absolutely certain we can win if we challenge. It will cost us 10k from the soft cap if we lose.

Yes, the question is, does that 10k move us closer to a signature, and is it worth it?

with all the resignations you'd think we would have a spare 10K in the cap.

But for me, it was a snipers act. A late whack that deserves a week.
