Watching Gulden tonight it's what to hope that McKercher can be if he comes here.
Nowhere near the same footskills.
A better athlete though.

Yes it’s fairly easy to follow. We used our 2023 second rounder in the 2022 draft. We time travelled into the future and nabbed George. Not sure you're following.
We got George with a 2022 2nd rounder by selling our 2023 2nd rounder. We're always a 2nd rounder short now off the CCJ deal.
Yep to all of this…. But where is the 2nd top 10 pick coming from next year? I totally agree on all of the rest though. There will be options next year to finish this thing off. When talking list builds, are people not understanding that we have two more drafts where we will be picking at the pointy end (top half anyway) and will have two picks that can get high level players? In addition, free agency will be a live option given the talent level at that point. We would have LDU, Thomas, Sheeze, Warlord, Larkey, Sanders, two of Curtin, Watson, McKercher etc plus two more top ten picks from the next two drafts. That’s enough elite talent (10) to be competing for silverware alongside the likes of Zurhaar, Phillips, Powell, Simpkin, Logue, Comben, Goater, George, Ford. You’d assume we might get one or two A Grade Free Agents at that point too, plus maybe hitting on a Fisher, Stephens or other second round picks we make or trade. So not wanting to take 170cm players, or needing a key back if we lose one, or getting upset if we take Tomlinson as a stop gap right now because we might be crap next year is pretty short sighted. If we can take two of: an elite small forward (Watson), an elite tall utility (Curtin) an elite runner (McKercher), big tall defender (O’Sullivan) or an aggressive forward (Caddy), it’s neither here nor there what we take this year as the list build will continue. Pick the players with winning attitudes that we can see competing in the biggest stage and want the footy in their hands in big moments. We will add the pieces we need in the next few years. We are in an exciting position and long term we need to just take the players we see have the most talent at early picks and pick for need with our Port pick and our future second rounders.
Two more top 10 picks would be 2024 & 2025. Not suggesting we have a second one next year ;-)!Yep to all of this…. But where is the 2nd top 10 pick coming from next year? I totally agree on all of the rest though. There will be options next year to finish this thing off.
Finn O’Sullivan next year would be Farking amazing, and the year after have a crack at some big name FA’s.
Our many years of shitness mean that we have a good smattering of high quality players on the list. We'll pick up a few more this year, next year and so on. We have players on our list that probably wouldn't be on any other list, and, all going well, they'll be replaced by much better footballers over the next year or three. When talking list builds, are people not understanding that we have two more drafts where we will be picking at the pointy end (top half anyway) and will have two picks that can get high level players? Need to nail this years top end picks if Band 1 compo happens. Our many years of shitness mean that we have a good smattering of high quality players on the list. We do need to nail the picks, develop the youngsters, build a game plan that will win us a grand final and rigorously enforce standards. But for the first time in two decades, I believe we have the opportunity to be serious contenders again.
Watching Gulden last night is absolutely what we expect Phillips to be from the start of next year and what Phillips needs to strive for. A small guy using gut running, overlap carry and elite footskills - willing his team back into a finals game.Watching Gulden tonight it's what to hope that McKercher can be if he comes here.

Another five for collard..can play.doesnt need many possessions to cause collateral damage.can playBased on that writeup West Coast probably have the smear piece on his character ready to post just in case people start catching on to him.
I agree with all of this my only criticism is the lack of paragraph breaks. When talking list builds, are people not understanding that we have two more drafts where we will be picking at the pointy end (top half anyway) and will have two picks that can get high level players? Maybe we could trade CCJ for a future 2nd rounder and square this mess up.Not sure you're following.
We got George with a 2022 2nd rounder by selling our 2023 2nd rounder. We're always a 2nd rounder short now off the CCJ deal.
To be fair, the AFL refunded us the future 2nd and we spent it on Griffin Logue. Not sure you're following.

We really need to get Schoenmaker. He is a gun.Tassie vs Gippy
Shoenmaker with 32 disposals, 7 marks, 4 tackles ,1 goal
J.Callinan 16 disposals, 3 goals
J.Leake 15 disposals, 1 goal
Z.Duursma 17 disposals , 8 marks, 1 goal
13 disposals, 3 marks, kicked 1.1.Another quiet game from Nick Watson…
I wonder which way they are going... showing off his other position versatility or hiding him13 disposals, 3 marks, kicked 1.1.
Interesting that he was named on the wing again.
Is he a good defender? seems to pick up a lot of uncontested possessions and marks. Draft profile says he’s a good contested mark but I haven’t seen any strong marking in his videos - or really much contested play at all.We really need to get Schoenmaker. He is a gun.
