Love analytics as much as the next guy, but this right here is why analytics gets a bad name. As far as I'm aware, analytics does not necessarily take into account the fact that the stakes of the game are much higher (i.e., going to the Super Bowl as opposed to a regular season game). There would have been nothing wrong with Campbell taking the field goal at the relevant times.
