NFL Network is included on WatchESPN, or the free tier of Gamepass now on CUNZ
NFL Network will take local feeds of games, most of the time the home team.
ESPN will always take the Rams local feed, due to them claiming Australia and an international market
Some games NFL Network will be joined in progress or left early to get the start of the next game.

Bears released OL Alex Leatherwood.

Leatherwood was claimed by the Bears last offseason after the former first-rounder was cut by the Raiders after one season with the team. Leatherwood provided the Bears some added depth along the offensive line last season but appeared in just four games on offense — none of which were starts. Leatherwood could catch on with another team in the coming weeks, but he’s struggled mightily early on

He has missed at least 4 game tying/winning field goals

So he fits right into the plan to lose as a direct result of our kicker

Nice job 👍

Feels like it will happen ....

ESPN’s Stephen Holder says trade talks for Colts RB Jonathan Taylor “will go down to the wire.”

According to Holder, these trade talks continue to be between the Colts and Dolphins, although Holder notes that he believes a second team is also involved in talks to acquire the 2021 All-Pro. The Colts are giving it until Tuesday to decide what to ultimately do with Taylor ahead of Week 1. While a trade seems likely, if teams are unwilling to meet a lofty asking price, it’s possible the Colts keep the star running back on the roster and place him on the PUP list if he chooses to not report.

CBS Sports’ Josina Reports teams interested in trading for Colts RB Jonathan Taylor are “willing to give Taylor a market contract.”

The Dolphins and another unnamed team are reportedly the two teams interested in trading for Taylor. The trade will likely be dependent on Taylor and a potential suitor agreeing to terms on a new contract, which Taylor has been seeking all offseason. It’s appearing more and more likely that a deal could get done for Taylor before Tuesday’s roster deadline.

The Browns are slated to waive York after having traded for Dustin Hopkins from the Chargers, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

York lost Cleveland's kicking competition by virtue of going 4-for-8 on field-goal tries in four preseason appearances, including back-to-back games in which he failed to convert what would have been a game-winner. Now, the 2022 fourth-round pick's roster spot has been made expendable by the Browns' trade of a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Chargers in exchange for veteran placekicker Dustin Hopkins. If he clears waivers, York will look to land on a practice squad elsewhere in the league. He could even be a candidate to reunite with Cleveland, considering the draft capital invested in him by the team.

The Texans are releasing Christian Kirksey (hamstring) on Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Kirksey has a lengthy history of IDP value, including last season when he piled up 124 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions as a 17-game starter for Houston. His release isn't a total shock, as the Texans have decent linebacker depth and stand to save at least a few million dollars with the move. Kirksey turns 31 on Thursday and should get calls from other teams soon enough.

I reiterate…

Cardinals C Pat Elflein (undisclosed) is out for the season.

The Cardinals signed Elflein to a one-year deal earlier this offseason after he was cut by the Panthers. The veteran center has started in all but one of the 65 games he’s appeared in for his career and hasn’t played in double-digit games since 2019. Hip surgery ended his 2022 campaign, and could be the reason for what is now a lost 2023 season.

Cardinals waived QB Colt McCoy.

McCoy was the presumed starter for the Cardinals heading into the offseason but has now been outdone by rookie fifth-rounder Clayton Tune and recently acquired Joshua Dobbs. Training camp reports on McCoy completed 9-of-12 passes for 42 yards in the preseason and struggled to push the ball downfield in camp. Set to turn 37 in September, McCoy has bounced around several teams since entering the league in 2010. He could catch on with another team later this season, but this is somewhat bleak for the former Texas Longhorn.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Eagles DE Derek Barnett “is gauging the market for the potential to play more elsewhere” this season.

The Eagles’ stout group of pass rushers has made Barnett somewhat expendable. The former No. 14 overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft suffered a torn ACL in Week 1 of last season and appeared on just 12 snaps before the injury. Now healthy, Barnett’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, will look to see what potential trade partners may be out there for the veteran end. Barnett has 21.5 sacks through six NFL seasons, and could help provided added depth to another team desperate for pass rushers.

Titans RB Hassan Haskins is done for the season.

Haskins is dealing with some kind of an injury, but the nature of it hasn’t been revealed. With that being said, this injury designation likely has more to do with Haskins’ legal troubles than his physical health. The second-year back has been in the midst of legal troubles that stem from a domestic violence arrest in June, and he appeared in just one preseason game for the Titans this offseason.

Does 6 seasons now make a player a veteran? Especially when he missed one with an ACL.

I hope he sticks around but not the end of the world if we move him on.

I always thought it was 5 to fully vest

******* lol.

Im not even mad, im kinda impressed the have committed to the tank this much and will be fun watching the decision they make between Kyler and pick 1 being another QB like Caleb Williams.

Also you know its Arizona so they will somehow f**k it up and end up winning like 4 games including one over the 9ers somehow. and split the series with the Rams which might also cost the Rams pick 1.

I like the brazen approach. Must be copying the 49ers revolutionary approach to having no QB available against the Eagles..... Or really loved the novel approach Denver had in the covid season where the NFL banned their QB room for not following protocols.....

The Texans acquired Kendrick Green from the Steelers in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Green started 15 games at center during his rookie campaign but was replaced by Mason Cole the following year. The 2021 third-round pick served as a backup guard last season and failed to see a single rep all year. With the addition of Green, Houston continues to fortify their strong offensive line ahead of the coming season.
