Liam Baker vs Butters

Gents, making my first upgrade this year, I can bring in either a guaranteed top 10 defence premium in Jack Sinclair, or a sceptical top 10 in Macrae or a top 15 Parish in their respective lines.

All three are probably the cheapest they'll be and are very good scoring options, I'm leaning towards Parish purely because he's owned by less coaches, thoughts?

Parish over Macrae

Can’t get to touk touk

Bring in parish or Sinclair ?
Parish. Higher ceiling in the current roles. Sinclair not taking as many kick outs as last season.

Liam Baker vs Butters
Butters. If Butters stays injury free, he should provide consistently higher scores in his midfield role.

Love watching them both play though.

Laird vs Miller? 🤔
I’d look at your bye structure. Miller would suit most teams better.

Gulden ($490K) v Heeney ($459K).
Gulden. Will prove to be more consistent than Heeney.

Lloyd v Sinclair
Lloyd. The Gull is back in full flight.

Cogs v Butters?

Also why are people talking about Butters new midfield role after just two games, like he didn't have periods of high CBA's last year that didn't sustain? He still has just as many bodies ahead of him for mid time as last year (Boak replaced by JHF). He had multiple periods with back to back, 3 or even 4 game blocks with decent CBA's, which never sustained, regardless of him playing well.

I’d pick Cogs.

But a large reason for Butters for scoring is due to injury during games.

Stay away from Sinclair until Steele is back imo. He's spending to much time in midfield.

NWM stealing some of his chips too, hard to see him averaging as high as last year.
Steele might be back this week, and the Saints have 3 in a row at Marvel. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes bang bang bang.

But yep, NWM taking his kick-ins is a problem.
