I saw this video of Phillipou and then saw our guys going ham on the freerun treadmill above and just thought wow that is the difference between an 18 year old and a 21 - 24 year old. Couldn’t be anymore stark.

I hope we have an EOY celebration for Crab at Metricon again. Maybe it was a foreshadowing of what's to come.

Thinking the same. Just hope they don't overdo it during pre-season and don't end up cooked in the regular season. Let's see how we go in a real action.

As of interest, I check regularly Lions pre-season thread. Rayner came back from off-season in what it seems like a poor shape (extra weight). I can't really see any of our players in a similar condition.

We might be seeing the benefits of recruiting/drafting blokes of good character. From a distance pretty much the whole squad look hard-working and determined. Kids that were elite as juniors and are desperate for success.

Of course only time will tell as results on the field is all that really matters in the end and everyone is training the house down at this time of year.

Agree with the post about the comparison with our guys and Phillipou (not knocking him). We've been out-matched a lot in the last few years as the club has got games into the younger guys. They now have the builds to compete better. Davies in particular looks like a monster in some of these training vids.

I re-watched Suns pre-season and practice games 2022.
I re-watched Long's rd23 clinic.

Yeah, Suns games 2021 are probably next.
