How do you get the pmyep - all pm's now
Unfortunately no club could cover that many injuries to one spot on the ground especially to the one type of player. The forward half looks pretty unbalanced and unsettled with the available talent we have- might be a problem kicking a winning score against Freo for starters. Round 1 selections will be very interesting.
it could be a very recognisable game plan, try and gain a lead and then defend the crap out of it, I don't think we will see any big blow outs but any wins we do scratch out will be by really small margin, stock up on Valium is my advice.Ok so 13 days until pre season is over. I’d say it’s been an average to below average pre season. Most problems are out of the clubs control. A lot of injuries that just are unlucky. Losing Walsh was just unlucky. On the games well the Melbourne game was average to poor. Having said that they should be flag favourites. The Essendon game was better but both sides look far from top 8 sides. The first few rounds will be about defence. The last thing the club can do is be offensive. That doesn’t mean we play slowly. It means our systems will be defensive. I’m expecting a 2 and 4 start after 6 games which really makes finals doubtful. Looking at 9 to 11 wins but the main thing is we have a great system and that the young kids either improve or the second year players don’t go backwards which can happen. Now to pick a side for round one. Good luck with that.
Need to be able offer a particular skill. How do you get the pm
I used to like the training reports
Well when you have a forward line missing the talls we are missing then any win is going to be close especially as we are playing sides around us early.it could be a very recognisable game plan, try and gain a lead and then defend the crap out of it, I don't think we will see any big blow outs but any wins we do scratch out will be by really small margin, stock up on Valium is my advice.
absolutely, I just hope it has a silver lining meaning I hope the opportunity it provides to new or fringe players uncovers some potential. It's the type of luck we'll need to punch up the ladder.Well when you have a forward line missing the talls we are missing then any win is going to be close especially as we are playing sounds around us early.
This isn’t a list of delisted players, it’s players that I think will be playing for their careers.I agree that Highmore, Peris, Connolly, Campbell are gone all delisted. I would add Allison to that list.
Id be happy to see how the 'constantly injured' players - Clark, Gresham, Jones, McKenzie go this year before pulling the trigger on trades. Having said that I think we need a ruthless approach with these players this year. If they dont play they basically get traded, we cant keep carrying could of beens!
Bytel, Byrnes & Sharman are hanging by a thread depending on their development this year. Would love it if all 3 stood up and earned games.
If the above occurs - Gresham might get us a reasonable pick as a free agent.
Clark possibly traded for a top # 25 pick.
Jones a straight swap for a backup ruckman.
McKenzie (I love the guy) cant bring myself to conjure a trade.
Bytel & Byrnes a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
Sharman possibly delisted, but may earn a reprieve as a Membrey backup.

Gold Coast patched together a tall forward line pretty successfully.
Ross has a contract for 2024. Herald Sun reported he triggered an extra year last season.According to the pinned post on the players board, here are our out of contact players at the end of the season:
1. Nicholas Coffield - Link
3. Zak Jones - Link
4. Jade Gresham (RFA) - Link
6. Sebastian Ross (UFA) - Link
7. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - Link
11. Hunter Clark - Link
13. Ryan Byrnes - Link
14. Liam Stocker - Link
21. Zaine Cordy - Link
22. Jack Higgins - Link
23. Jack Bytel - Link
27. Oscar Adams - Link
29. Jimmy Webster (UFA) - Link
32. Mason Wood (CAT A) - Link
34. Tom Highmore - Link
36. Daniel McKenzie (RFA) - Link
37. Leo Connolly - Link
38. Tom Campbell - Link
41. Angus McLennan (CAT B) - Link
45. Jack Peris (CAT B) - Link
N/A. Anthony Caminiti (CAT A) - Link
That's half the list. I thought Cordy signed a three year deal so let's leave him off. You'd think priority one for the list management team would be locking Gresham away, but he has his detractors around here. Personally, I'd be trying to get Coffield, Clark and Higgins signed away fairly quickly too. NWM has been debated to death around here, I hope he signs another deal. Ross and Wood will get new contracts IMO, and Webster probably late in the piece if his form holds. Adams is a long term prospect who will probably get another contract. The others have work to do.
If the rhetoric and the way we have trained and played over the pre season is any indication, you'd think the long term plan will be to get the right players at Lyon's disposal so he can deliver on the promise of a more offensive game plan but it makes sense for the early part of 2023 to go with defence biased plan while waiting for players to come back. That and the Rosco-constrictor defensive set up makes for a low scoring game anyway.

No current season stats available
His last year at Freo before the injuries They were 1st for defensive and 5th for attack and playing a good brandRoss had some pretty decent scores in the past as well too. He likes free flowing scoring as long as it's his side doing it. If he thinks we are going to be outmuscled in a wrestle he doesn't mind making it into a dour lockdown though.
Out with a calf.Hello folks, please excuse the intrusion.
I noticed Daniel McKenzie didn't get a run on the weekend. Any injury concerns or is he just not best 26?
Cheers.
Well we won’t know if there is a change in him until later in the seasonThat and the Rosco-constrictor defensive set up makes for a low scoring game anyway.
Rather win thoughNext draft sounds as if it is a strong one so maybe won't be such a bad thing for us to get a top 10 pick
