You must have heard the same guy I heard only I didn’t hear who he was talking about. Seemed to be running ok so it can’t be anything serious.Heard someone say Jack Steele hurt his back that's why he was doing laps
Don‘t worry, they’ll find out soon enough.Shh..keep a lid on it!!
Hope youre right?Sounds like bone bruising but will probably be scanned
Checks out…Heard someone say Jack Steele hurt his back that's why he was doing laps
I thought he looked like a tall dunny brush. Seemed to be on the sidelines for the part where they were running the ball from end to end. Hard to gain much from what they are doing at the moment. I think all of the first year players are being managed conservatively. Can someone just tell me how the saviour Pillapou looks
Don't get injuredWhat are the details of training for next week?
LegendHiggins training brilliantly, Windhager and Owens ready to step up…Byrnes & Bytel look hungry…Wood, Sharman & Membrey forwards, NWM in defence.
Keeler looked good until he hurt his knee (sounds like bone bruising).
Butler no longer cruising, none of that under the boss!
Big focus on quick ball movement and structuring up when turnovers occur.
Don't get injured
If it's bone bruising, how long do people think he will be sidelined for?Sounds like bone bruising but will probably be scanned

That rumour was before the draft, wasn't it? He was in the rooms during the draft at any rate.Is Roughy still interstate?
From what I gather, he is in list management. I thinkThat rumour was before the draft, wasn't it? He was in the rooms during the draft at any rate.
He was talking to Andrew Bassat at trainingThat rumour was before the draft, wasn't it? He was in the rooms during the draft at any rate.
I also saw him talking to Lethlean. He was talking to Andrew Bassat at training
I went down to training this morning and the one thing I got out of it was that Windhager is going to tear the competition apart.
WA papers saying Stack will try out with the Saints for a SSP spot

And the kid is still 17
Surprised he wasn't picked up by a team, even for a depth option. I know there's a knock on him for being slow, but it hasn't stopped other players. If you can read a game, you'll know where to be.Still think Ethan Phillips would have been handy. He’s a huge intercept defender who we could have thrown forward until King got back.
Yeah agree it was surprising. He must be really feckin slow!Surprised he wasn't picked up by a team, even for a depth option. I know there's a knock on him for being slow, but it hasn't stopped other players. If you can read a game, you'll know where to be.
The brains trust at the club seem to think otherwise though.
I think you're underplaying how good Gresh actually was in the middle. His kicking under pressure isnt the best, we all know that, but his clearance work is excellent and importantly plays with agility and pace that our other midfielders dont have which can really break open other teams who lack the ability to deal with it.The small forward situation is going to be very interesting. Under Ratten I think we carried too many underperforming forwards in the team and played our best small forward (Gresh) in the midfield where he's good but not great. Higgins clearly has the ability to kick 40-50 goals a year and it looks like he's gotten himself into the best shape of his life and is training well. Then there's Butler who also has ability but has been largely ineffective for the past two seasons playing as someone who racks up 'pressure acts' without hitting the scoreboard or actually executing that many useful tackles. But by all reports Butler looks much more serious than he has for a while so it wouldn't surprise me if Ross loves his running ability and pressure. Gresham as a brilliant crumber, Higgins a natural marking forward and Butler as a pressure machine makes for a pretty dynamic and dangerous group. Then we have the likes of Windy, Owens, Steele, Crouch, Billings, Pou and maybe Hotton all potentially spending some time up forward. It's going to be an interesting season.
