Sebit has been a bit of a focal point this quarter, been involved in pretty much every purple forward play and just collected a bouncing ball for snap on goal

Switta an absolute game changer for the purple team in the 3rd.

I really really liked Henry’s game today was the best winger by a mile. Got a ton of it, held his space and used the ball well.

NOD and Cox missing in action today of the usual suspects.

Darcy always has these little niggling injury just before season starts. Hope nothing serious

Not to worry everyone but he looked a bit despondent with his leg up on ice.

Really good to get down for the first time and hang out with KH and Dockernut for a quarter.

The intensity dropped off in the last as the longer game meant fatigue kicked in. Some minor worries with Darcy's left ankle, didn't seem serious, probably a roll. Schultz didn't come back on after his early hit either.

I missed the first half, which by all reports was quite slick.

Standouts in the second half were:
Brayshaw, just a gun, enough said.
Aish, in everything
Switta, his intensity and execution are fantastic.
Kuek, knows where to be, but currently too slow making decisions and execution lacking, lots to work with though.
Chapman, no fuss, nothing pretty, but did he job nullifying his opponent.
Henry, holding width well and getting used often. Took some hits, a big one from Polson but kept going, tried hard right to the end.
Sturt, had a worrying hobble in the third, but some nice goals and a great run down tackle after spoiling a marking contest, great double effort.
Banners, has a solid third quarter where he was in a lot of plays.

Goal kicking from JT was off in the second half, had a few flour bags from 50m.

They're looking great and I can't wait to see all of them playing in the one team together. Still another few levels in them yet, great signs for this time of year.
