Mids fought incredibly hard but delivery inside 50 was bafflingly poor.

SOS worked his butt off as usual but geez that miss in the 3rd costly

Voss doesn’t have any at all. In the second quarter it was obvious we would lose. Saints playing the now go to against Blues game plan of 2 extra back and then spread. We are so easy to play against.

They only needed to level up somewhat in the contest and they had us. Never looked like it.

We haven’t looked like it all year so far.

We are just super super slow. And mentally fragile. It’s bloody depressing.

I hate losing to St Kilda. It’s so frustrating watching this team at the moment- the usual suspects busting a gut to keep us in it, and another group of players who regularly make the same mistakes under pressure. I want to be wrong, but based on the way we are currently going, I don’t see us making finals this year.

We always lose to St Kilda. It's painful.

I'm so disillusioned in this club at the moment. I feel like we've been gaslit for years. We've gone on this long rebuild but we've butchered it. Too many injured players, too many big contracts on injury prone mercenaries, appalling drafting (Fisher, SPS, O Brien, Dow) and absolutely no system other than slow plays.

But Voss's gameplan categorically does not work if everything isn't going right yet he wants to be absolutely rigid in it.

Let the players play their natural and instinctive game and cut out the massive over instruction that is clearly going on.

Anyone who blames Voss for this loss or worse wants him fired is a bum.

The game plan was perfectly fine up until the half time.

I accuse the playing group (except.the kids like Jesse and Ollie obviously and First Gamer Cincy) of being big headed, lazy and complacent in that second half, and they need a bloody good hard look at themselves.

The playing group culture at this club stinks, and has probably ever since Parko retired and handed the reigns to Britts.

We cannot afford to keep changing coaches every 3 years or so.

Let's back Voss the Boss in and let him turn this mediocre culture around.

It's like driving a car with only one gear.. it drives, and takes you from A to B. But when the kids want to head down the peninsula for the weekend, this car is as useless as kicking a tin can down the street.

All the Lyon bashers look pretty stupid now. Most did prior but really put the exclamation point on their complete lack of footy knowledge.

Mentally fragile is putting it nicely. They have issues on psychological levels on the ground. They are mentally inept.

The least of our issues. If only they got reward for effort in the third quarter. Cerra brilliant all day, Walsh fought hard, Cripps was everywhere when the game was on the line but the forwards just could not convert.

They should be practicing goal kicking for the next month.

Well something sure isn't working. We are worse than we were last year and lack the desire to compete that the top teams exude. As others have commented, game plan is stagnant, we switch rather than attack, our kicking in-field and for goals continues to be inconsistent etc etc. The more we play the less I'm convinced Voss is a good coach. Ross Lyon though.....

100% Spot on. It's so utterly frustrating. Those same handful of passengers **** us over every week. I don't care how many people think "yes but who are we going to play" , I still think the answer is to drop several players and give someone else a go.
