What are we thinking, how many of Cowan, Wilmot, Johnson and Davey hold their spots?

I reckon there's a decent chance all 4 do, but also wouldn't be surprised if 2 or 3 go out.

Davey would be on thin ice you'd think, the others I'm not sure

Imterestingly a lot of the Purples on their board want to drop Wagner. I thought he was pretty good, admittedly i look at oppo players from a SC perspective.

Was in my plans for this week, but i dont want any more dead rookies.

What do others think?

I'm hoping he does get a rest for a few weeks because I can only get 1 of Wagner/Mitchell this week and it would make the decision easy.

Wilson has responded well to being dropped, 20+ touches 2 weeks in a row. Also Chapman is a 'test' to return this week. They are the concerns.
Wagner is 26 yo, he's no spring chicken. It depends how long of a run they want to give him, to prove he has more upside than Wilson.
The other option is Aish, Clark, Young and Chapman provide enough outlet off half back, where they don't need either Wagner or Wilson.

re Johnson:
Switkowski is a 'test' to return, but Fyfe won't be back, Frederick is out for 3-4 weeks, and Henry is out with concussion, so MJ will hold his spot 100%.

Wilson is 30yrs now, maybe they want to try younger wagner a bit longer? I think youre right about Chapman, he s a worry.

If Wagner stays in when/if Chapman is selected then he has pretty reasonable job security at least for 2 maybe 3 games.

He did nothing last week that warranted being dropped so you would think Wilson at 30 playing ok in the WAFL but not absolutely killing it is not going to usurp him immediately.

Wardlaw and Drury reportedly “in the mix” for round 7.

Would’ve thought Drury for Turner is a no-brainer, but what would I know…

XOH just scored his first tonne in his 32rd game. Green back this week does he stay in/become the sub?

I'm not advocating Warlord (lol) but he will get a run in the team when he comes in.

I think he stays .

Ryan Argwin might go ..

I feel GWS were relying on too few.
Now perryman back as well I think it helps green and cogs in the long

I've got a case of ye olde spicy cough, so to pass the time I started thinking about how I could "complete" my team by the end of the byes.

Part of the equation will be dependent on which viable rookies will become available by then.

The probables that came to mind were Cincotta, Simpson, Drury, Visentini, Wardlaw, Tsatas, Sheldrick.

Then maybe Angwin, Coffield, Jhye Clark?

It's good to have a plan .

I'm not even trying to think at having a full team .
Just at a level I'm kinda happy with it .

Insteed of opening SC and having a face like this .

Where are they playing him in the VFL? He seemed the type that would dominate that level and feature early but seems he is only getting low to mid teens touches.

I've only seen a few VFL games I think he's playing of a forward flank .
Only getting 15 odd touches the games I've seen .

Not getting heaps of mid time.

Also seen him at open training ...he's not passing the eye test ...at this point in time.
I'm sure he will a good player but not the early wookie I though he would be .
