Nobody mentioning bytel. Didnt watch the game but he scored as much as callahan while being 100k cheaper. Only 20k more expensive than ashcroft and mackenzie and he scored more than them too. Isnt he a must have as well?

Could easily be dropped. Risk/reward pick with Saints mids to return

I hope he stays b22 but will be touch and go

Hawks fans.. seeing Day getting singled out a lot for poor kicking playing in the midfield. Does anything change there re his role? S Mitchell not one to tolerate too much poor kicking

Thought he was pretty good. Was everywhere for a full 4 quarters
Day's kicking is actually one of his strengths, just had an off kicking day. But then, so did our whole team. I honestly don't expect Mitchell to make any wholesale changes. We were poor due to lack of effort and not holding our structures. We really just need more experience, so I don't think messing around with the cattle or positional changes would be useful to us. Hold firm and ride the pain (both for Hawks and Fantasy uncertainty).

Will be interesting to see what Setterfield does against the better midfields. Won’t plays Hawks every week.. I think him averaging 100 is a stretch

I mean, George Hewett avg 98.5 last season after getting a CBA boost at a different team. 100 a stretch but he might go close.

Very similar situation and players.

Don’t have him.. asked because I’m planning on getting him

If I started him wouldn’t even be a question of holding firm. One of the great starting picks

Didn't watch the game - did he have any sort of tagging role with that. He was a good junior been cruelled by injury at this level. Does Windhager get his spot?

Stewart -> Day
Xerri -> Darcy

Double D in's unless it's catastrophe with teams this week as im happy with my rookies for now.

Im like 10k short of getting to Witts instead of Darcy...but that's totally fine im not frustrated at all.

The most important stat is Setterfield was 2nd for them in CBA's at 74%. Elite number.

I can see him avging 100 if that continues

He's who I'll go to if Laird sh*ts his pants again, and Setters goes over 95 again. Will still net me over 300K, so definitely worth it if it all goes pear shaped.

I've honestly not much to deal with, would've scored really well had Laird not stunk as captain. Sigh. Done the obvious Greene to Chandler and am now unsure what to do with my last trade. Don't like the idea of jumping off Laird, but it seems my best option. Either go to Clarry/Brayshaw or be a crazy cat and go to Setterfield/Rowell. Thoughts?

Happy to be corrected, but I think Windhager was listed as an emergency, which is a strange one in and of itself.
he was a chance to get up - couldn't with that hand. Should be OK this week

Got a bit of a shock this morning when I opened up and still saw Hunt D3....thought it was all a bad dream but no, he's really in there

Can someone tell me that Hunt is worth persisting with another week to see how he goes at Optus? Because last week it was like he was running away from the ball

Punt him and throw away the key

Xerri to English
Kelly to Green

Wanted to wait a week to see if Green was real and it wasn't just an Adelaide thrashing, but I couldn't afford my other target Brayshaw (although maybe I could afford Bray if i go Witts over English, will need to explore).

Have 130k in the bank to fix up rookies next week assuming i don't have two more forced trades again.
I'm doing the same. It means I'll miss Chandler but so it goes. I think Green is real. I didn't pick him initially because I didn't think he could rack up uncontested possessions like he did. To do that in that heat was very impressive.

even with Jelly and Xerri to deal with? I don't know how every single year I have to start one complete random spud

btw how annoying is it to have to trade those two when they were good picks. GWS great early fixture and Kelly finally getting a pure midfield role, tracking for 110. And then Xerri solo ruck, doing really well and tracking for a 90+ score

Honestly know how that feels - the team I have went well everywhere and now I feel attached, but have to make some tough calls. Your side is probably even harder to trade out from - I at least have Sheed and maybe Flanders I could be ruthless with.

Go to Setterfield before Rowell - I have Rowell and he had zero marks. I'm optimistic on him still but think I'd rather Setters. I can see Cox being the new Berg. Was looking to go Cameron up to Gawn, but Cox just seems more urgent.

Ever seen a chook with it's head cut off?

Thinking of Cumming to Green, Chesser back. Cowan to Bergman - generates $30k for the kitty, but starts cash gen from Green as well. Means Ginbey and Wilmont on field though.

If you can luxury trade Cumming after 1 week you're so lucky. He's in my team and I've got multiple injuries to deal with

By the way, West Coast up next. Monopoly on kickouts and rebound 50's with Whitfield injuried. Big open ground for his uncontested touches.

I'm predicting (praying) for him to bounce back and ton up in this game

Windhager will return soon. He’ll be the first to go when that happens

Don't be afraid of Ginbey on the field - real deal!
