Game Day 2023 Round 23 - Crows v Swans - 7:40pm @ Adelaide

I've barely seen the Crows this year so can't comment on them, but I think we are playing really good footy of late. There are glaring weak points in our game but what's really heartening is that as a team we are finding enough of our strengths to create ways around those weaknesses. Things are really starting to click and I am pretty confident we'll get this one.

Stat wise we match up very evenly across the ground - hopefully we can get on top of them early and go from there. But given our habit for giving away goals on the first bounce I have my doubts

The angriest Crows fans I've seen here appear to be the middle aged types who probably work as an accountant, hate their job, and come to the footy to vent red-faced, vein-popping at the umpires for a couple of hours. Or their own team.

Pretty sure my hometown was considered the meth capital of SA at one point, happy to hand that over.

Should be an absolute cracker! Crows will be breathing fire, first quarter will be huge to silence the rabid mob over there.

Will be a proper away game, 95% home support, influencing umpires etc.

Will be extremely surprised and happy if we can get the win but I am hoping like crazy!!

Crows season on the line and they have improved, will be a quality test to see how far we have come.

Hoping Francis stays down back and we go with a mobile forward line, eg Hayward Heeney as the hybrid 2nd or 3rd tall at times
