There are hundreds of state league footballers or kids in the junior pathways that are far more talented than those two.

I'd 100% replace Turner, Howe and Bonar with Mannagh, Declase and Phillips.

I'm confident Mannagh will play 100 games for someone at AFL level.

Sorry mate, can you fill in the gap in my understanding?.. how does Logue's LTI status have any bearing on the rookie list?

We took Shiels last year as a SSP because George was placed on the LTI after drafting him in November.
I believe were over the quota because we took Hansen Jr in the mid year draft this year so will have to accommodate his selection in our final list lodgements in October.

Fine in theory however in practice it doesnt really work that way, fro example we took drury woth the first rookie pick and he is far from a lock, the chances of getting someone in the 3rd or 4th round of the rookie draft is very rare, slightly higher chances maybe of taking a punt on a dfa or mature state league player. Neither however are going to make us a better team immediately.
