Senior list
Goldy retire
Spicer
Mahony
Young
Plus obviously the 3 retirees we already know

7 senior list spots opened up
Plus see what happens with mckay

Rookie list
Shiels retire
Howe delist
Free
Dawson - think his papers are stamped regardless of getting a game yesterday

Bonar also an option from senior list but I still think he can play the third tall role well which he hasn’t had the chance to play at afl level

For me, gone are

Zeebs
Cunners
Hall
Mahoney
Young
Perez
McKay * assuming gone

Howe
Jacobs
Shiels
Turner

Goldy to the seniors list thingy

So that’s 12 list spots
Jacobs?

You mean to say we had the best tagger in the league and not only did we not play him, but should delist him?

Retire - Cunnington, Ziebell, Hall & Shiels.
Delist - Bonar, Edwards, Free. Mahony & Spicer
Free Agency - McKay

Potential for trade - Powell, Phillips, Lazzaro & Taylor. 1 or 2 players listed could potentially be used to trade to improve our position in the draft or bring in other players.

Re-sign - Dawson, Turner, Goldstein & Greenwood.

Unsure - Howe, Drury, Perez & Young. Depending on how many players we turnover one of more of these players could be expendable.

There's a few blokes lucky they can wave contracts beyond this year at the list managers that's for sure.

Speaking of managers, my early nominations for player manager of the year are those managers that secured contracts until 2029 for the following:

Jake Soligo
Jacob Hopper
Jack Payne ( I do rate him though)

Now while I concede the Lizard is a very good player - but 2031!

Few on this Board will be alive then.

Glad to see a majority can see past the Turner hate and are agreeing he deserves another year
I have heard his manager wants 2 years. Not sure I agree with that, but wow man, he was more than solid against the Suns. Showed what he's capable of. I have a sneaking suspicion we're gonna hear "Round 24, North Melbourne vs Gold Coast. North Melbourne, K Turner, 1 vote." In fact, I'll be having a serious dabble on that. Thanks for the heads up.

It was good to have a win yesterday but let’s not forget the 20 losses before . We will delist a minimum 8 possibly 12 as we have to cull the extra 4. Three have retired so makes it a bit easier for the club. You would think players in trouble are Young, Turner, Free, Mahoney, Shiels, Howe, Bonar, Edwards,Spicer, Perez, Question marks over Greenwood,Goldstein and McKay. There’s plenty for the club to pick from and it just depends how much we want to turnover the list. As many have said we want to upgrade each player that goes if possible.
frees contracted

Bigger question is how many inclusions do we have?

Pick 2, 16, 39, 54 and 59?. Even if McKay leaves and we get pick 3, it will replace McKay. If our "assistance" is we can match a bid on Colonel Sanders with a 20% discount and nothing else and he gets a pick 5 bid then it is going to soak up 1500 points which 16 and 39 would barely cover.

That would still be 2, 3 and Sanders and 54 and 59 leftover so you can't really do wholesale delisting given Ziebell, Cunnington and Hall have retired and that combo includes McKay exiting. We wouldn't really have the capacity to manage a larger turnover, not without bringing in a lot more draft capital.
