If Humphrey’s 2025 season is like his 2024, he might think we’d shaft him too. It plants a seed. Now he knows Collingwood wants him. Personally, I’m after revenge on Collingwood for even suggesting it

split pick 2 with GC for 6 and 13

then GC can say you took too long, offer is now a future first for rioli (can trade back into next years draft later with 2026 future pick in 12 months time)

gc then take a gun at 2 and get lombard

A players peak is from 26-30 it doesn't end at 27. Do you think Touk is worth a packet of chips because he will be 29 at the start of next season? Players last longer than ever now and keep their athletic prowess for longer because of how well they train and manage. Look at Dangerfield, should have fallen off a cliff by now, still has that outrageous burst on him at 34yo. 30 ain't the end of a career anymore.

Miller is one year older. Didn't you say that Miller was terrible this year? Just kidding.

Off contract, Rioli value would be, IMO, 12-15. He is pretty good player and will help us more next year than draftee (midfielder).

Hey, remember, pick 7 turned into 3rd round pick for Suns with Hollands. You will get used to it.

Important is that we will fulfil our objectives as they were nicely summarized in Herald article I posted.

Honestly, I am a bit petrified if we don't play finals next year and players like Rowell will not extend and leave (and we get more top picks to feed the cycle).
