Wasn’t there rumours of clubs looking at Davies?
Yeah, probably should have included him. But I mostly referenced players that are at the end of their career or haven’t been given much of a chance at top level. The odd one out was Fiorini, who has plenty of chances.

Davies may go. Won’t get fair value back, but we got him for free. It is what it is, unfortunately.

If Davies goes you keep Fiorini. Need some AFL quality depth there.

I like Davies. Hope he stays.

Anyone worried about Humphrey?
Says he is a midfielder but spends his time forward or being subbed out.
Is signed long term mind you.
Is he happy?
I'm worried that the coaching group are going to ruin him as a player by leaving him stationed as a deep forward when his best position is clearly a burst mid.

I'd be surprised if Davies left as it seems dimma is a fan.
Davies was out to dinner tonight with Mac, Jake, Ben Long, Ned Moyle in Miami, hopefully they are in his ear, they all seems in good spirits

No.....(should say I'm not, don't know about anyone else.....)
That's on the coaching group .....not him

How would any of us "keyboard warriors" know
I know some of us have contacts… or speak with players post game.
Just throwing it out there for a bit of BF interaction

Stats that stand out to me are intercept possessions and bounces, plus a few more handballs. We need more run and gun—someone to take the game on—and those stats suggest he will do that more (hopefully).

Sexton is serviceable and I’ve always liked him and gunned for him to be in the team. But he is not a daring kicker. Inside 50 he does ok though. Maybe he could be a winger, but I think he will just be a flexi-depth player for us now.

AFL trade news: Suns believe Daniel Rioli wants to move, Suns’ asking price for Lukosius

Jon Ralph

Rioli
Tigers likely to be able to secure two late first-round picks from the Suns if they come to the party.

Rioli proposed to partner Paris Lawrence during this year’s off-season bye but she could continue her DJing career in Brisbane and Gold Coast if they relocated.

But it remains possible the Tigers might simply refuse to trade Daniel Rioli given he is contracted even though the incentive of two first-round picks for a player who will be 28 in April will be tempting.

Luko
It comes with Adelaide interested in home grown forward Jack Lukosius but with the Suns likely to ask for a first-round pick in exchange if he does decide to head to the Crows.

Adelaide made clear earlier this year its current and future first-rounders are on the table for elite talent, so the Suns might request their future first rounder.

That remains to be seen given Adelaide would suggest it is helping Gold Coast’s salary cap given Lukosius is in the second year of a four-year deal worth at least $650,000 a season.

Ralph is Richmonds mouth-piece, so they must realise they aren't getting pick 5/6. Even the Dog's pick plus 20 is overs.

You should go post that bit about Luko for a first in the draft/trade thread and watch all those condescending Crows fans head's explode :moustache: - EDIT you already did lol

I did.

All seems reasonable. Two teen picks for Rioli seem fair, maybe still with a late pick coming back.

On a side note: trading a future pick is always bad for us. The club who trades with us, almost without fail, rockets up the board and leaves us looking dumb(er). So yes, it would be in Adelaide’s best interest to do that in the hopes they can also capture some of those Suns future pick magic beans we like to sprinkle out…

well well well

Josh Rachele getting dropped.

3rd rounder will get it done, cheers Adelaide

If I’m not mistaken, his family have a home o. The GC, and didn’t he say he would have been stoked to get drafted here?

Most won’t agree with me but he has exactly the type of personality we need in the team. Also in a position of need.

Before you say he is out of form . I saw a post comparing Rachele this year to rankine in his last year with us, Rachele has him beat in nearly every stat.

Rachelle is an upgrade on Rosas. So, considering Rosas is all we have as a genuine crafty, fast and dangerous small forward, we should look at every possible option we can afford.

I'm taking Rachele all day.

We had the choice between Rachele and The Big Mac, easy decision there.

We NEED that personality, we are a bunch of nice guys, let Benny Long, Junkyard Dog Holman & Rachele go wild.

You are right, he has kicked 30 goals as a small forward in his third year
