Sure it wasn't said in jest? Because no club ever waits for a manager to win before announcing an agreement. What if he goes 10 games without a win? Are you saying the club won't announce anything?
I see absolutely no reason why the club would hold off on announcing an agreement has been made with Diles as head coach if that is actually the case.

No not in jest Dave on the podcast was pretty confident with the source. In fact Robbie Thomson on the ‘A-League Off Air’ podcast also got the some inside source. Don’t know what the club is thinking but Robbie said the club want to stick with Diles at least till the end of season with a possible extension into next season.

Let's be serious. Maybe someone within the club said let's wait for a win to announce our new manager in jest but no club ever in history would wait around to announce a new manager that they've already agreed terms with dependent on winning a game.
There's also strong talk of a new shareholder taking 777's shares over shortly. I'd imagine they want to have their .02 on who we sign as a new manager if they are in fact in the process of securing those shares.

Mate you can make assumptions all you like but those are pretty strong sources coming from two different credible podcasts that leads me to believe that its pretty accurate.

Find me another example of a club that "waits for a win" to announce a new manager for the next 2 and a half seasons. Maybe he is manager for the next 2 and a half years but I'm not buying for one second this "wait for a win to announce" nonsense.
You must realise how ridiculous that sounds.
Btw on the Melbourne Victory private FB page sources are claiming Diles is interim only until end of the season.
Plus there is the ongoing rumours of a new incoming investor to replace 777. If I were an incoming investor one of the first things id want to address is the manager.

You have to be pretty naive to believe any club lets a key player go for no compo who is an international player and was contracted until 2026.
I'd take that claim with a serious grain of salt.

You claimed - the club has no money. Can't afford a manager therefore Diles gets the job.
I claimed - the club has terminated Kisnorbo's contract plus sold 3 players in the last year - Izzo / Lino & Geria so does actually have money. This is also factual information - you making stuff up doesn't change this.
In addition to this I also pointed out recent new contracts to Machach & Langerak. Despite your false claims to the contrary this is proof the club does have actually have money to spend.
In response you went on the attack despite the fact that all of this stuff is true and you believe you know better.
You're clearly trying to save face now after your last lot of bullshit was dealt with by moderators after you were called out.

Also not confident with the future of Diles still not resolved publicly by the club. We really need a statement confirming he's either interim until the end of the season or signed up as permanent manager by the end of the week for clarity.

For Vuicks sake have just come out and said there's no clarity around Arthur Diles' position at the club. This is a major walk back on what they stated previously.
Robbie Thompson said on A-League off air that the club had talked with candidates based overseas.
Daniel McBreen believes that Diles isn't going to be our permanent manager, said this on the same podcast.

What debacle?
Geria had a contract until 2026. A club wanted him in Japan, he wanted to take up that opportunity to further his career. A deal was done.
Obviously there's an expectation that the club replaces him. Disappointing that hasn't happened yet.
Deng was obviously linked, the other name that's been thrown around is Degenek but that's far less likely IMO.
