I think he needs to give up his Australian citizenship for Chinese citizenship to be eligible so it's probably unlikely anyway.

Degenek would play at CB. He's better than both Hamill & Miranda. Hamill has the ability to play at RB. It gives us options, instead of playing Hamill & Miranda every week. And no idea what we do if one or both of Hamill / Miranda are out with the current squad.

Don't see there is much in this story. Teague is good enough to probably earn a transfer to Europe in the next year or two. And be a long term solution for the Socceroos in the middle of the park.
