It can't be a coincidence that the downfall for the SEC is a couple of years after everyone else can start paying players.

And these new superconfrences have the title game loser still alive but champs 1 and done. Almost like having non regional based 18 team conferences isn't a good idea. They killed regional rivals for this

Top 2 teams go one and done, all 4 teams with the bye knocked our right away. Teams who lost championship games both have 2 wins in the playoffs.

I said it last month, I'm not sure how a 4 week break will land vs teams who get to play one game in that span. 2 weeks off is good rest, 4 weeks is hard to stay football fit. Which is why moving to 16 makes sense.

Notre dame for me was top 4 to 5 team in country so not like Georgia lost to a bad team.
Them and penn state should be a great game.
ND are better then Penn St. Never understood why they didn't want to have them above them in any of the November rankings. Always seemed like they were going to meet in the Semi given the bracket.

In big games NDs issue is QB, Penn St has a coaching issue in them

I think seeding was the problem I thought Texas, Notre dame and penn state where all better teams than the ones that were playing. Only upset for me was Oregon losing to Ohio state.

Seeding is always going to be an issue with 12 teams if they have AQ bid byes. But find it unfair if non champs get the bye and they keep 12. But that's what they will do and makes the debate bigger like would Texas or Penn St deserve the bye having lost a championship game vs a ND or Ohio St that were not champs and didn't have the play the extra game. Which is why champs get the bye is the easiest way for an uneven number

16 fixes if when if a champ is a lower ranked team they still get to host but ranked them as they should be rather then seeds having rankings that are different numbers.

Reseeding would of had the same match ups.

Downside of being independent no championship to play for and no auto bye

Now here’s the upside

Seems like a fair trade off

Look at that. Another Mike Bobo play calling masterclass. His bullshit dumb arse stuck in the 90s play calling cost us in the SECCG last season, had us looking like shit all year, and then cost us again in this game. Frazier killed them so lets stop using him. We are finding open guys down field so lets continually give the hand off to Etienne and run it with no success or go with the Bobo special- the screen. Throwing ****ing fades with a bunch of incompetent receivers that can't catch worth shit is just moronic. He has no idea how to run an offence, nor how to tailor an offence around a QB. The **** stain had 3 weeks to work it out and decided to just run the same shit that hasn't been working for Beck all season. We saw this exact bullshit from Bobo a decade ago. He effectively got Richt the sack and wasted Aaron Murray. The fans lost their shit when he was hired again for a reason and once again the fans are proven right.

The 0-line was ****ing gash. The only good player on the line is Ratledge and he is off to the league. If we don't throw a **** load of NIL money at o-linemen then it is a massive dereliction of duty.

As usual this defence can't tackle worth shit. Any team that can run the ball outside has had so much success and like clockwork it happened again. At least our corners didn't get torched like they have on many occasions this season.

This off-season Kirby has to stop being a dumb campaigner and fire his dumb campaigner mates. They are holding this team back from contending. Bobo, Searles, Schuman, and Coley have to be given the arse, friendship be damned. Jobs for the boys never works in any sport and it is not working here. We have the program and money to go out and get the best of the best but instead of doing that when losing Monken and Lanning, as well as Muschamp stepping back to support his son playing for Vandy, we go out and hire Kirby's best mates. It could very well have cost us the 3 peat last season and cost us again in this game.

Hopefully ND go and win it all now. Most palatable of an unpalatable last 4 teams.

Showing your vintage if you understand this classic, but it's pretty great 😍

I also saw Oregon Trail memes. With them dying on the way

Should force the kid to sit out a year for being stupid. He just signed with them and got on campus to see that he won't be automatically the starter and unlikely to win the job so entered the portal before even being technical a college student yet
