As a fan base we're really just over Melbourne's shit and bring footy. I reckon I went to mire games when we were a bottom 4 side in 2014
Always thought that the q clash had alot of potential.
Thing is though the Dees are still in contention for the 8.
It’ll be around 16, it’s a crap timeslot on a crap night against a side that nobody actually cares about.
Plus people are sick of goodwin and our brand. I haven’t missed a game this year but it’s grim tonight.
I know its not raining but its fricken cold, currently 7 degrees. Hard to tell on the telly but at a guess it looks around 12-15K

100%. Essendon fans have endured enough for another year. What a monumental slump the clubs in! 20 years without winning a final and counting. And a 5 year ‘sentence’ on top. That’s unparalleled.

All the reserved seats in Hobart were sold. just the members who didn't turn up. The Hill was packed.

I must say while it's the best since coved I expected more considering all seating was sold and the hill was pretty packed. I think North Members not turning up has always been a problem and I have heard a lot of freebies were given away as well and obviously a lot don't use them. I can't understand why they would give freebies away to these bigger games when I know many that missed out on tickets because seating was all sold out and some only like seating. Still a long way from the 19,000 capacity but good to see an improved crowd.

The actual capacity of Blundstone is about 13-4k.
It is why they haven't had any over that amount for nearly a decade.

We play the most dead boring brand of footy there is, I really don't blame the fans. It's so hard to watch even when we win
It's record is 18,100 and it's had many afl and big bash crowds over 14,000 and that number makes it lower than the 16,000 capacity it used to be before the upgrade around 12 years ago.
