The ‘Dawk-ball’ antics and Socials stuff annoyed a lot of people- but also scared oppo supporters….there was a chance they had broken the mould.

As it stands, it was precocious talented kids sticking it up the ‘old school’ - unsuccessfully.

I’ve never liked Hawthorn supporters - horrendous when they win, dormant when they lose - something about the ‘thug in the alley’ about them….Nah….no respect.

I've got a positive feeling Hok ball will end up being Baz ball 2.0

Yeah. There is no guarantee the Hawks are good next season. Collingwood could go either way next season, but you have Fremantle, Melbourne and Essendon (they should have finished top 4 and then choked) that could all be in the finals next year and most likely are.

Hawks should be better but when you look at the others around them it will be hard for them to compete the same.

I continuously expect Carlton to perform better than they do, Fremantle are in a very good spot, Suns are too talented to be out of the 8 again.

I could also see us going worse next season, but it's harder to finish higher than 1st

Hawks are young, it will come as no surprise should they drop.

Hawks are bringing in some very good players in Barrass and Battle plus potentially getting Mitchell back from injury too so will only improve you'd think.

Are you referring to Tom Mitchell because he's at the Pies now. Otherwise Mitch Lewis will be missing most / all of next year from his ACL. Finally, there is Seamus Mitchell but not sure how much of a difference he will make. Or Sam Mitchell out of retirement? Geez the Hawks love their Mitchell's

For me Homebush is dead set easy to get to. SCG is harder. It all depends on where you live in Sydney which is spread out like a dusty blanket.

Next called moved from Tassie to the West 20 years ago , said they had a good base for auskick , but with the demographic they have changed to soccer etc and there is no interest.
Some calling saying we are selfish not allowing them at the SCG

Rugby league is thriving out west, especially with Penrith dominating. You still have to give GWS time, it's only been a decade. It's not like all Victorian teams are thriving. You need generational support & entrenchment in the community. Success & money obviously helps but it's not a magical pill.
