Defense

2. Brian Branch (TCS) 16.5
1. Nakobe Dean (GIN) 11.5

Fn ridiculous score from TCol. Talk about eveything going right in one week, bringing about one of the highest ever league scores. Seven offensive players scoring (almost) 25+ will do that.

Arakaans Assassins 228.1 (1-2) def. Pistols Dolphins (0-3) 208.2
Offense
3. Derrick Henry (PID) 31.4
2. Rashee Rice (ARA) 30.1

Defense
3. Nick Bolton (PID) 16.5
2. Azeez Al-Shaiir (PID) 15.5
1. Robert Spilane (ARA) 15.0

(Arguably) 2023s best team gets on the board for their first win of the season, just in time too as division rivals Gobsmackers and FC have started the season hot.

Galactic Gobsmackers (3-0) 179.0 def. Bismarck FC (2-1) 173.8
Offense
3. Dak Prescott (BFC) 36.5
2. Aaron Jones (GOB) 26.8

2.5. Kyle Hamilton (GOB) 12.5
0.5. Logan Wilson (GOB) 10.5
0.5. Xavier McKinney (BFC) 10.5

Battle for control of the division was a close but low-scoring affair. Neither team really brought their best, but I'm sure Galactic is happy to take the early advantage regardless.

Fueys Haze (2-1) 180.8 def Hedeby Berserkers (2-1) 149.7
Offense
3. Joe Burrow (FHZ) 36.1
2. Patrick Mahomes (FHZ) 21.9

Defense
3. Roquan Smith (HED) 12.0
2. Maxx Crosby (HED) 11.0
1. Micah McFadden (FHZ) 10.0

After a hot start, Berserkers have a random week of shite. Beneficiary: Me. Standard 3-way tie at the top of the division... important early win for the Haze though.

Chisms Chasers (1-2) 191.1 def. Pandas Broncos (2-1) 181.9
Offense
3. Jayden Daniels (CHC) 34.0
2. Sam Darnold (PAN) 31.9
1. DK Metcalf (CHC) 23.4

Defense
3. Paulson Adebo (PAN) 13.0
2. Brandon Aubrey (VAN) 11.0
1. Kyzir White (VAN) 10.5

Slow start for Chasers, but another team to register their first win this week. Daniels an astute pick at 1.01 and doing the business for Chism. Pandas loss means the fight is on for the division.

Purple Vandals (1-2) 261.9 def. Beads Army (1-2) 141.9
Offense
3. Saquon Barkley (VAN) 36.6
2. Andy Dalton (VAN) 34.0
1. Kyren Williams (VAN) 31.6

Defense
3. Ernest Jones (VAN) 17.0
2. Byron Young (BEA) 14.0
1. Brian Burns (VAN) 13.5

Massive score for the Vandals, even carrying a 0 from Mark Andrews. Third team for the week to get their first win also.

Sheesh!

Watch me get screwed here and lose as Allen will get something overnight as he was TCol last and only player today trying to chase me down.

There will be corrections, always are on ESPN. I lost my earlier game to Galatic on corrections when it originally said I won by 4.5 points, ended up losing by 6 or something, no idea how it can be that far out but it was.

Most of the time it is defenders though and TFLs and assisted tackles change and our score got closer overnight when i checked in the morning and said to myself Allen only needs 30 to beat me now and after yesterdays games he needed close to 40 odd.

Interesting to see if Allen is adjusted but i bet he is.

**** I hope you win... not just because he's a division rival, but mainly cos noone deserves to win if they're starrting Ray-Ray McLeod...

I had to start him in a few places this week.

I really forgot to review my bye weeks and how they all line up this year. Didn't have a QB to start in Sleeperbowl, still managed a win thankfully though.

Week 4

Beads Army 214.7 (2-2) def. ConstantGin (0-4) 132.8
Offense
3. Jared Goff (BEA) 34.9
2. Jayden Reed (BEA) 28.1
1. Diontae Johnson (BEA) 21.3

Defense
3. Jake Moody (GIN) 13.0
2. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (GIN) 10.5
1. Nakobe Dean (GIN) 10.5

Beads gets the job done against Gin, offense all in double digit scores bar one, Very few of Gins team turned up it seems, Carson Steele compounding the shit week with a negative score. Fair to say not much went right this week for Gin.

Galactics Gobsmackers 194.9 (4-0) def. Pistols Dolphins (0-4)
185.6
Offense
3. Derrick Henry (PID) 37.9
2. Dontayvion Wicks (PID) 24.3
1. Amon-Ra St.Brown (GOB) 22.8

Defense
3. Logan Wilson (GOB) 12.0
2. Germaine Pratt (GOB) 10.5
1. Montez Sweat (PID) 10.0

Not even having the two top scorers in the game could save the Dolphins from a loss here. Not Galactics best week, but a win is a win at this stage of the season. Can't argue with 4-0.

Pandas Broncos (3-1) 239.2 def. Fueys Haze (2-2) 207.0
Offense
3. CJ Stroud (PAN) 31.2
2. D'Andre Swift (FHZ) 29.5
1. Sam Darnold (PAN) 26.5

Defense
3. Paulson Adebo (PAN) 23.0
2. Lavonte David (FHZ) 20.5
1. Bobby Wagner (PAN) 15.0

Not a bad score from the Haze, but not good enough to defeat Panda. Eleven players hit double digits for the Broncos, showing the eveness that got them to the Championship game in 2023.

Chisms Chasers (2-2) 228.6 def Hedeby Berserkers (2-2) 208.1
Offense
3. Jordan Love (CHC) 37.2
2. Baker Mayfield (HED) 35.8
1. Kenneth Walker (CHC) 34.6

Defense
3. Troy Anderson (CHC) 34.5
2. Bobby Okereke (HED) 11.5
1. Nick Bosa (CHC) 11.5

Another competitive contest, but Chism getting a massive score from Troy Anderson decides this one. Biggest defensive score I can remember since Khalil Mack's 6-sack game. Would feel bad for the Berserkers, but reigning champs and all. Good return after a poor score last week though from Hedeby.

Bismarck FC (3-1) 224.8 def. Arakaans Assassins (1-3) 158.1
Offense
3. Nico Collins (BFC) 34.1
2. Lamar Jackson (ARA) 27.9
1. Dak Prescott (BFC) 24.9

Defense
3. Jaquan Brisker (BFC) 23.5
2. Fred Warner (BFC) 19.0
1. Dorian Williams (BFC) 15.0

Bismark averaging a league low 173 points against, but you can only beat whats in front of you. One of only four team with a positive W-L ledger though, so who am I to judge?. All in all, pretty good across the board, four lowest individual scores from guys you'd have higher expectations of, so a 250+ score wasn't out of the question this week.

Purple Vandals (3-1) 256.2 def. Tcols Stars (2-2) 166.1
Offense
3. Geno Smith (VAN) 27.4
2. Malik Nabers (TCS) 24.1
1. Chuba Hubbard (VAN) 23.1

Defense
3. Younghoe Koo (VAN) 20.0
2. EJ Speed (VAN) 18.5
1. Blake Cashman (TCS) 14.5

IN the battle of teams that racked up big scores in Wk3, only one was able to back it up in Wk4. All OPs scored double digits and overall 12/17 players scored well for the Vandals. Ten more double digit scores on the bench (including a 35 from J.Fields ) also for BPG, might be the one to watch in Season 2024, Stars bitterly disappointing after the near 300pts of Wk3.

Some good news I pulled off the upset and got my first win of the season. 🥳
With your track record a win is not such a celebration as you disguise the big fella below! Try to change his paint as the Yellow sticks out a bit! 🤣

Come week 10 or so dial in the strange roster moves and rubbish starters! fuey wont apply penalties though so go for your life! Wet lettuce leaf will be incoming! 🤣🤣

Bruv, why you so negative... too much BigFooty for you...

But facts is, in this league, the draft is everything. Improvement is 80% draft, 15% trades and maybe 5% waiver wire. I don't expect to see amazing moves made mid-week.

Offense
3. Ja'Marr Chase (TCS) 46.3
2. DJ Moore (BEA) 28.5
1. Daniel Jones (TCS) 27.3

Defense
3. Budda Baker (TCS) 13.0
1.5. Eric Kendricks (TCS) 12.0

Week 6

Beads Army (3-3) 201.0 def. Fueys Haze (3-3) 160.1
Offense
3. Jared Goff (BEA) 35.9
2. Terry McLaurin (FHZ) 23.3
1. Joe Burrow (FHZ) 22.6

Defense
3. Chris Boswell (BEA) 17.0
2. Jalen Pitre (FHZ) 11.5
1. Lavonte David (FHZ) 10.5

Both teams battling to get out of the medicority zone, the result keeping both teams well and truly in. Haze carrying, in essence, three zeroes on offense wasn't ideal and was probably the game there. Beads only had a couple of standouts, but more than enough to account for the Haze.

Bismarck FC (5-1) 187.2 def. Galactic Gobsmackers (4-2) 182.0
Offense
3. Chris Godwin (BFC) 38.5
2. Jalen Hurts (GOB) 28.3
1. Demario Douglas (GOB) 21.2

Defense
3. Will Anderson Jr (GOB) 23.5
2. Harold Landry (BFC) 19.5
1. Fred Warner (BFC) 15.0

Big mid-season game as the division foes are 4-1, with this being the last division battle for both. Was a justifiably close game, but neither team reaching any great scoring heights. Bismarck takes the playoff advantage with a 5pt victory.

Pistols Dolphins (1-5) 244.6 def Arakaans Assassins (2-4) 230.1
Offense
3. Caleb Williams (PID) 37.9
2. Derrick Henry (PID) 26.2
1. Garrett Wilson (ARA) 25.7

Defense
3. Zach Allen (PID) 23.0
2. TJ Watt (ARA) 21.0
1. Jake Bates (PID) 20.0

Assassins run of bad luck continues, scoring a whopping 230pts, and still losing to the previously winless Dolphins. Both teams had a bunch of double-digit scorers, but Dolphins just did that little bit better, and beat their season average PF by 60+ points.

Hedeby Berserkers (4-2) 216.8 def. Purple Vandals (3-3) 190.9
Offense
3. Baker Mayfield (HED) 36.3
2. Deebo Samuel (VAN) 24.7
1. AJ Brown (HED) 24.6

Defense
3. Brian Burns (VAN) 16.5
2. Myles Garrett (VAN) 13.0
1. Younghoe Koo (VAN) 12.0

Potential championship game preview here, but ever since being the early season flavour of the month, Vandals have seemed to hit a wall. Nothing overly monstrous for the Berserkers, with only Mayfield and AJ Brown having 20+ games. Not embarassing for the Vandals, but zeroes from Harrison, Ward and Zack Moss were a killer.

Pandas Broncos (4-2) 234.8 def. ConstantGin (0-6) 194.2
Offense
3. Drake Maye (PAN) 26.4
2. Bo Nix (PAN) 25.6
1. CJ Stroud (PAN) 24.3

Defense
3. Paulson Adebo (PAN) 18.0
1.5. Quay Walker (PAN) 13.5
1.5. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (GIN) 13.5

Panda does it pretty easy, with the best young QB room in the league figuring as the three highest scorers in the matchup. Gin has scored fairly well most weeks, just not well enough to gain a win just yet. I have a feeling he may be close :)

Chisms Chasers (4-2) 206.2 def. Tcols Stars (3-3) 206.1
Offense
3. Jordan Love (CHC) 35.7
2. Brock Purdy (TCS) 33.9
1. Josh Allen (TCS) 29.3

Defense
3. Brian Branch (TCS) 19.5
2. Justin Strnad (TCS) 13.5
1. Keion White (TCS) 11.0

After an 0-2 start, Chism has hit his groove and wins hi 4th straight, by quite literally the narrowest of margins. Not much better than seeing a division rival take an L by that margin either! All four in the GeeCats division are in dogfight for this one, only one game seperates 1st and 4th.

Week 7

Chisms Chasers (5-2) 185.1 def. Fueys Haze (3-4) 157.8
Offense
3. Russell Wilson (CHC) 30.3
2. Kenneth Walker III (CHC) 23.3
1. Jordan Love (CHC) 23.2

Defense
3. Kyle Dugger (FHZ) 13.0
2. Jordan Hicks (CHC) 10.0
0.5. Kendall Fuller (CHC) 9.5
0.5. Kaden Elliss (CHC) 9.5

Chasers win their 5th straight and looking the form team of the comp, even with their worst score of the season to date.. Return of Russell Wilson could propel them to new highs. Haze seem to be in a little slump, with two uncharacteristically low scores in a row.

Galactic Gobsmackers (5-2) 204.2 def. Pistols Dolphins (1-6) 172.8
Offense
3. Jalen Hurts (GOB) 26.6
2. Bijan Robinson (PID) 26.3
0.5. Amon-Ra St.Brown (GOB) 26.2
0.5. Derrick Henry (GOB) 26.2

Defense
3. Germaine Pratt (GOB) 17.5
2. Ka'imi Fairbairn (GOB) 13.0
1. Kyle Hamilton (GOB) 12.0

Both teams return to previous form, Dolphins, fresh from their first win of the season, and Gobsmackers after a couple of stinging losses, both have a reversal of fortune. Very even across the board from Galactic, and the Dolphins missed their projected by 24pts.

Arakaans Assassins (3-4) 192.5 def Bismarck FC (5-2) 145.3
Offense
3. Lamar Jackson (ARA) 46.1
2. Tank Bigsby (BFC) 24.8
1. George Kittle (ARA) 15.2

Defense
3. Austin Siebert (ARA) 17.0
2. Zaire Franklin (ARA) 14.0
1. Justin Tucker (BFC) 13.0

Assassins hanging in there, averaging 210ppg over weeks 1-6, and having a 2-4 record (conversely, BFC averaging 206 and had a 5-1 record). Very unlucky. Could be the one to rocket into playoffs from here if the luck starts going in his favour. The FC had an absolute stinker, with all bar one player (Tank Bigsby) not making their projected score. One to forget.

Hedeby Berserkers (5-2) 185.5 def. Beads Army (3-4) 140.7
Offense
3. Baker Mayfield (HED) 35.1
2. Kyler Murray (HED) 23.6
1. Jared Goff (BEA) 23.0

Defense
3. Roquan Smith (HED) 16.5
2. Chris Boswell (BEA) 14.0
1. Julian Love (HED) 12.5

Berserkers win their third on the trot as they start to get a hand on the division as others falter. Beads very boom or bust, posting the leagues lowest score for the season, beating(?) his own previous low score of 141.9. The Army receivers di him no favours, missing projected by 36.7pts combined.

TCols Stars (4-3) 218.5 def. Pandas Broncos (4-3) 163.9
Offense
3. Jahmyr Gibbs (PAN) 34.0
2. Josh Allen (TCS) 28.0
1. Drake Maye (PAN) 27.4

Defense
3. Brian Branch (TCS) 13.0
1. Jordyn Brooks (TCS) 12.0
1. Justin Strnad (TCS) 12.0
1. Jason Myers (TCS) 12.0

Tcol with one of only two scores over 195 for the week, and defense was a big factor with four players in double digits, and Panda's best on defense was only 8. Ten players in double digits for the Stars also.

ConstantGin (1-6) 190.1 def. Purple Vandals (3-4) 180.7
Offense
3. Saquon Barkley (VAN) 27.7
2. Joe Mixon (GIN) 27.4
1. Breece Hall (GIN) 27.1

Defense
3. Terrel Bernard (VAN) 15.0
2. Nakobe Dean (GIN) 14.0
1. Brian Burns (VAN) 12.5

GIN FOR THE WIN!! Gin finslly gets off the mark in a weird one. Both teams had a negative scorer, -4.5 from Gin's kicker, though Vandals negative was from QB Dalton. Even a pedestrian game from the big Ranga probably secures a win. Vandals also had more double digit scores, AND the highest individual scorer for the game. I'm still not sure how the Vandals lost this one...

Week 8

Fueys Haze (4-4) 228.6 def. TCols Stars (4-4) 205.3
Offense
3. James Cook (FHZ) 29.3
2. Brock Purdy (TCS) 28.8
1. Josh Allen (TCS) 25.1

Defense
3. Jalen Pitre (FHZ) 12.5
2. Jordan Poyer (FHZ) 10.0
1. Eric Kendricks (TCS) 9.5

Haze really needed to win this one to stay in touch, and win it they did. In what's always a tightly contested matchup, the Haze fire power of offensive scorers (none below 11.4), eleven in total compared to the Stars 7.

Hedeby Berserkers (6-2) 260.5 def. Constant Gin (1-7) 240.2
Offense
3. CeeDee Lamb (HED) 41.6
2. Ladd McConkey (GIN) 34.9
1. Matthew Stafford (HED) 34.1

Defense
3. Bobby Okereke (HED) 17.5
2. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (GIN) 12.0
0.5. Jeffrey Simmons (GIN) 11.5
0.5. Emmanuel Ogbah (HED) 11.5

With the division rivals both at 4-4, Berserkers siezed the opportunity to open a two-game lead with a bog score led my Lamb and Stafford. Gin horrendously unlucky to lose with a score of 240, but can still shape the playoffs over the next few weeks. The Jem division is NEVER drama-free, so I'm kind of expecting (hoping) the Berserkers to put in a couple of stinkers...

Purple Vandals (4-4) 216.3 def. Galactic Gobsmackers (5-3) 206.6
Offense
3. Jalen Hurts (GOB) 39.7
2. Cade Otton (VAN) 29.1
1. Kyren Williams (VAN) 22.6

Defense
3. Kyle Hamilton (GOB) 20.5
2. Will Anderson (GOB) 15.5
1. EJ Speed (VAN) 15.0

Yet another high scoring matchup that does nothing to ease the playoff picture. Cade Otton spurred the Vandals to a victory where the Gobsmackers defenders outshone most of the offense. Gob's big name receivers let them down when they meeded it.

Pandas Broncos (5-3) 239.0 def. Pistols Dolphins (1-7) 222.9
Offense
3. Kirk Cousins (PID) 38.9
2. Bo Nix (PAN) 38.4
1. Sam Darnold (PAN) 24.0

Defense
3. DeShon Elliott (PID) 15.0
1.5. Foyesade Olokun (PID) 12.5
1.5. Kyzir White (PAN) 12.5

And another high-scoring slobberknocker, Broncos benefitting from Nix recent improvement, and a return to form for Stevenson and McBride. Dolphins can put up good scores when everything goes right, so could throw a spanner in a few teams works late.

Arakaans Assassins (4-4) 248.2 def. Chisms Chasers (5-3) 222.2
Offense
3. Lamar Jackson (ARA) 30.3
2. Jayden Daniels (CHC) 29.3
1. Devon Achane (CHC) 26.7

Defense
2.5. Byron Murphy (CHC) 16.0
2.5. TJ Watt (ARA) 16.0
1. Zaire Franklin (ARA) 15.0

Assassins seem to have hit their straps, averaging just shy of 230pts over the past four weeks. Thirteen double-digit scorers, plus five more on the bench, dude is set to soar in the second half of the season. Chasers unlucky to get the L, scoring above their projected even with Jordan Love getting injured.

Beads Army (4-4) 198.7 def. Bismarck FC (4-4) 169.1
Offense
3. Justin Herbert (BEA) 31.9
2. Jared Goff (BEA) 20.7
1. Darnell Mooney (BFC) 18.6

Defense
3. Greg Rousseau (BEA) 18.5
2. Fred Warner (BFC) 15.0
1. Chris Boswell (BEA) 14.0

Somewhat fitting the only two teams to not hit the 200 mark play eachother. The FC have had two shockers in a row and what looked a promising season has descended into a shit fight, one of the nine teams with four or five wins currently. Beads in the same boat, not incapable, but need to find consistency ASAP.
