His kicking actually got much better this season. Actually back him more than most of our mids now to deliver, which is sad in itself...If Cripps can improve his kicking substantially, he can definitely be a triple Brownlow medallist.
His got that "handball" down pat, taking inspiration from Oliver has done wonders for himself.
Only 1 root? Got the AFL umpires department lining up for their turn.Crippa will get a root tonight and get 3 surely
Dipper and Diesel shared a Brownlow with 17 votes. Wanganeen and Libba won with 18.Heeney has stopped getting votes since he was suspended....
(we have been poor mind you)
Boring count. The players are getting too many votes now. I miss the days of the winner getting 25 for the win.
We can look on the brightside. Carlton wont win a flag with 1 playerBest season ever!!!!
Don’t mind Crippa. He can’t control votingCongrats to Cripps on the brownlow, bloody good player. Shame his teammates can't step up to share the votes with him, perhaps the Blues could achieve something if they did.
We know 7 goals doesn't beat 7 kicks.A 30 possession 2 goal game from a midfielder nets you 3 Brownlow votes more often than not. What's the forward equivalent of a 3 vote game?
Or Cripps or N Daicos took the field, automatic three votesHogan missed out with 5 goals but plenty of ball in a few games. Amartey had one with 9 goals. Suggests somewhere between those 2 depending on if there was a dominant midfielder.
So when players change clubs they're not as good anymore?
So Ablett, Franklin, Hodge, Lockett, Barrass, Bunton they're not that good, not as good Cripps? Lol
