Got over run in 2021, but he got his side into that GF on the back of an impressive individual finals series leading up to that game

Yep. Got to Carlton, the place was a mess under Malthouse who was sacked. We were North-level of shit for essentially his entire first 8 years. Not once did he entertain leaving, just said "nup, I'm leading us out of this". All the while every young bloke at the moment facing a rough time seem to seeking trades either back home or to a better club.

He's loyal, tough and just a humble country boy who plays footy the right way.

If you're really a footy fan, you should love this kind of bloke, but people always find a reason to hate I guess.

LDU should be looking at him as an example tbh, but he'll bail from his club.
