Are there any big fans of Travaglia or jack Whitlock in here and if so please explain to me what are there big strengths. A lot of phantoms have us linked to both.
I have read that one of Whitlocks query’s was his intensity. So I’d much rather Shanahan or Armstrong.
And people have said Travaglia’s kicking is a little questionable. I’d prefer we went with Lindsay or Harry Oliver.

I’d say they will be the ones making offers and we will know about them well before pick 2 needs to be called out; which, as I said, is really upon us now because we already, and so do our competitors probably, know who pick 1 is.
We can’t go into the first minutes of the draft not knowing details of the biggest trade of them all, given we’ve had weeks to negotiate on it and it would then need to be decided on in a few minutes.
Poor preparation with unnecessary pressure.
North will have had a month to come up with something. If they presented their deal when it’s on the clock I’d tell them to **** off.

Apologies, it wasn’t a criticism of your comments, it was general commentary around player selection and why we may not take a logical balance of player types in a single draft.
I agree with you, the selections proposed weren’t great IMO either.

I'm with you, we need to take at least 1 KPF and I've got it down to Armstrong, Shanahan and Faull but concerningly I think we are red hot on Whitlock and might reach at 11.
It's been said a few times that next years draft has some talls that may go right at the pointy end so don't think we will go over the top this draft. Blair is really good at looking at multiple drafts and setting us up across the years by trading in/out so am confident if we take 6 picks in this draft at least 3 will be mids

The chatter a few weeks ago was both of the twins at 18 and 20.
Will trust the club but I just don't see the upside with them. Pretty sure you're right though as we got to a lot of their games throughout the year

Those that are expecting/hoping for us to land everyone they prefer in the draft are going to be in for a massive shock when the draft actually happens. Outside the likely Lalor selection at 1, I'm expecting that there will be a number of selections taken where the boards preferred option doesn't eventuate
