That pick trade today is so irrelevant that we will be done 24 hours before the Pies picks are used.

Bauer showed good signs ✔️
Lefau looks ok as a 3rd tall ✔️

Fawcett, Gray, Kosi ✖️✖️✖️ none are going to make it.

Lynch is gone in 1-2 years.

Absolute must draft 1x KPF and likely 1x small forward
kosi ain’t we have seen jack shite from the other 2

campaigners still trying to reinvent the wheel with another 1000 ways to get pick 2 like Fos is the second coming of Chrs Judd what fk joke

Let’s face it, it’s not so much us getting FOS … every Tiger supporter deep down despises the thought of Blues getting FOS and him turning into a superstar. If Freo had pick-3 nobody would give 2 x sh*ts about getting 2 or not.

Any of us Tiger campaigners who deny this is kidding themselves.

Saints have 7 & 8, why would they swap 8 for 18 & 20 ? no logic ..18 & 20 are valuable picks for KPFs we really need now !
plus if North take 8&10 then they would take 10&11.....but they would reject both

So Saints wouldn’t do 8 for 18 and 20… but neither would we?? I’m not sure which team you’re saying gets screwed by that deal and who wouldn’t want it ..??

And if North get 8 then they’ll likely get Tauru .. 10 is a big question mark.

Everyone seems so fixed on trading out 6, 10, 11 etc to tempt North. Don’t.

One thing is sure - every club has war-gamed all this, probably multiple times if not daily. All clubs, including North, will have a list of scenarios they can quickly tick off when they are on the clock. The list will descend from hoped for outcomes to last second desperation bids they simply will not want to make. Richmond are the one club that can simply sit pat and take their picks unless a ball tearing offer they cannot refuse is made. How that looks is anyone’s guess but the Tigers will not give up four top eleven picks in the best draft field in living memory.

Our North chums can prattle on all they like about what they will not accept. It is what they will offer that counts. They will make the offer. Richmond does not need to seek anything. It is a total and comprehensive power imbalance.

Richmond will take 1,6,10 and 11 to the draft. The rest is up for grabs and will nett a good return one way or another. It will not be North who profit from our hard work over the last few years in setting all this up.
All I'll say is.
1/2\6
Or
1/6/10

I don't rate fos , I'm a Draper fan , if Fos was
A absolute star no way Norf would trade 2
Even with their stacked midfield , and we
Would have bent over backwards to get him
Yet here we are.

I’m just repeating what the article said mate 😂

“The Saints also have picks seven and eight in the national draft but are considering trading one of those top-10 picks for two later selections in the first-round.

Richmond and GWS are both considering deals with the Saints.”
Saints are in discussion with Richmond & GWS

Richmond trade #11 to GWS for #16 + #21
Richmond trade #16 + #10 to St Kilda for #8 + F1

We did that last year. Fawcett. Do you want 2 CHF in the team
We have Bauer who will be a very good third tall. Lefau showed very good signs leading from the square. The club are excited about Gray. Kosi is pretty solid. Lynch is still there too. I’d say the midfield is where the game is usually won is the area we need to smash in the draft

Compare our KPF stocks with the rest of the competition, we have the worst in the league by a fair wack.
Our best forward can barely get on the park and is 30+, if we can get over half a season of games into him that’s an improvement on the past two years but I wouldn’t bank on it.

Loved Lefau’s development in 24 but coming off an ACL (is that his second now?) throws a question mark on him long term.

Kosi is serviceable at times and I’m sure would work well with relief from Lynch but when he at times really struggled to compete at times when he was our only key target. Will he still be on our list in 3-5 years? That’s highly debatable.

Will Lefau, Gray or Bauer be on our list in 3-5 years time? Maybe one of them or two at an absolute optimistic stretch.

Going for an Armstrong or Shanahan is to hopefully sought out our forward woes for the long term. Pinning our hopes on the above guys and Fawcett is extremely optimistic considering Kosi is the only one whose proven himself with 50 games at AFL level.

Played one reserves game but no chance of making it they say
What farrk wits lol
you're against drafting another kpf because pick 43 fawcett is on the list with a bunch of msd hail mary's, thats ****in inspired thinking.

Technically you could say everyone 2-5 isn’t an absolute star based on that logic.

Also could simply be that they think we take FOS 1 and they get Lalor.

It’s hardly definitive either way.

Yet here we are.

Here we are… 2 weeks out from the draft?

We will find out draft night when pick 2 is on the board how much we rate it and how much Norf want to sell it. Was always the case.

The fk are you on about? they had all the time in the world to get a deal done and no one budged and always the case my arse

If we have a tall forward on the board rated highest after our first 3 picks then we should pick them. We need everything bar 1st rucks and KPDs.
I personally say we shouldn't draft rucks at all. Anyone noticed what our 1st rucks over the last 20 years have in common (Stafford, Maric, Simmonds, Nankervis)?

We got them through trade.
