Agree totally. Lalor, Jagga, Langford all much better and safer prospects imo
Praying someone before us takes Allan too. Poor kick who barely finds the footy. Do not see the appeal there

I found the ESPN write up very interesting
“His question marks revolve around his ability to accumulate and win contested ball. If those areas improve at the next level, O'Sullivan will become one of the most damaging midfielders in the game.”
They are 2 very big question marks
A. Win contested ball
B. Ability to accumulate.
If that’s a concern at u18 level, it’s not getting any easier at higher level.
Huh? Bo Allan is a stud.
Barely finds the footy? Guy averaged 20 possessions, 6 tackles coming off an injury at the carnival. Found the footy more than Smillie and Lalor did.
And I won’t say he’s an elite kick, but he certainly isn’t ‘poor’. His decision making needs improvement but he’s been known to hit a lead 50m+ away. There’s a few kicks in the Aus v WB game which were above the level.
Guy has a development arc similar to Jordan Dawson imo. Going to be a very good AFL player.

Really warming to picking up Hynes, in the 20s.
I think he’s possibly got as much upside as any player outside the top dozen.
Most of the good sides have dynamic small/medium forwards who are a nightmare for opposition backs to matchup on.
Hynes could begin his career as a powerful medium forward, and then progress into the midfield.
Pity we didn’t get to see him at the combine, would have loved to know his 20m time

Watching smilies highlights , he’s a dead set natural footballer , knows where to be in CBD , thing I really like about him is he’s always a long kick . Reckon he’d adapt very well to senior footy and I mean early too
