I didn’t care about that - my issue was his low average possession counts. He got goals but only ever touched it 8-9 times per game.

Just too similar to Jefferson frankly.

Genuinely the most overrated skill in the game, it annoys me how such an emphasis is placed on it.

If a team can move the ball quick that beats anyone with speed (Simon Goodwin is yet to learn this). If you have footy smarts you dont need to be speedy coz youre in the right spots.

Yep. Fast ball movement happens through team gut-running and spread, not by having lots of blokes who can win the GF sprint.

Xavier was locked in a month ago but club was hopeful of splitting second pick but GWS were to take him so forced hand.

The fact the Giants wanted Lindsay only makes me feel better about the pick. They know what they are doing and always draft players I wish we had.
