How so? Clubs like Brisbane and Carlton will have excess picks from late bids and will be happy to move some value into next year.

We can only focus on the now and right now we have **** all small forwards who can kick goals and apply pressure to lock the ball in.

That's just it. As a list manager it's not that easy, there are no absolutes. You know the player age profiles, you know the list. What years would you try to pull which levers?

You look at weakness in your list and address it. For us it is developing key backs, nimble fast midfielders and damaging players forward of the ball.
