I can see it now, straight swap for that Frampton jobber from the Pies.

We’ll miraculously get four goals out of him in his first half of football then he’ll injure himself and retire. Meanwhile Oliver will finish up with three more flags and a Browlow.

Agreed. If Brown and Tmac had been given 7 year deals instead of 3 years then we'd have had much more salary cap to offer Schache 3 years and therefore have excellent depth through to 2026. These are the basics of list management Tim Lamb has no idea about.

Jesus we are no chance for a flag with this much dead weight. Throw in Oliver, J Smith, lack of development in Jefferson and Windsor and risks around Brayshaw, land almost half our list is useless in our 2024 flag hunt.

Why we didn’t pickup a player ready to go , or close to ready begs belief, we seem to be loving our project players in Jefferson/Adams/Seston/Windsor/Howes/Laurie/Verall/KFW ect with **** all of them looking like they will make a dent in 2024 while we are in our window.

By the time any of these blokes are ready our window will be closed shut and we will be lucky to get 3-4 good years out of them before they are free agents.

Yep, should've gone for some 'readymade' juniors with big frames like Will Gould and Jackson Callow. So stupid to pick best available with first rounders.

Because at the end of next year we'll likely be seeing the end of Viney, May and Max so you need to keep the list moving rather than be short sighted and throw hail Mary's for the sake of 1 year.

It's not 2009 mate, we're looking to actually develop players, all those ones you listed would have debuted round 1 after their draft and be considered dud picks by now if it was up to you.
