A bit different in that 7 was traditionally given to wingers. So if you're like beckham or ronaldo, that's your number. If they're out of the team, someone else plays on the wing, they wear number 7 that day. Numbers were not permanent (ie forever). They reflected positions.

However, its a fun game to play.

So at RFC, 7 is for those with class, speed and skill. For example Nathan Brown, Marc Dragacevic and Ray Martin (not that ray martin)

Crap since being made redundant at work ... pr***s ... but busy reinventing myself.
Obvious career change needed after 30 years, no small feat at my age. Fingers crossed.

On paper, the best draft haul I've seen for the yellow and black in the draft era.
1 and 7 aside, I think Hotton will prove to be one of the most astute picks in the draft (alongside Travaglia at the Saints) and was rapt to get Jonty Faull.
Would have loved Joe Berry but you can't get them all.
The tall forward stocks suddenly look healthy after being almost non-existent for two years.
While I don't mind, North's future first rounder was daylight robbery Should be in the 4-7 range.
Undecided on who next. Possibly the ruck Dodson or the small Alger, or maybe Tom Gross.

One of two things will happen:

1. A team will give us a F2 and a pick in the early-mid 30’s for our current pick. Then we will get a pick in the late-30’s and a F2 for our ‘new’ pick.

Then we will take a player.

Or

2. A decent team like Geelong will give us a F1 and a later pick in this draft for our pick.

I can’t see us taking anyway straight away and entering the draft with just 3 x picks with one of them a dud pick next year.

Nirvana played 2 nights at the palace in jan Feb 1992. That's the show I went to. I didn't see pearl jam until a few nights ago. They were pretty good actually.

I was at that Nirvana gig at the palace - it went off….blew the joint apart - the energy in the room was off the charts

It’s funny the way it turned out

Was thinking about it before, because of the way North have played it the guy who was taken with the last pick has more pressure on him this year than the guy we took with Pick 1

We understand it’s time to take our medicine and hot faves for another spoon, but knowing we will get a top tier draft pick helps ease the pain

North have put massive pressure on themselves because now they need to massively improve next year to justify this trade
