Brilliant Blair might do one of 3 things I'm guessing.

1. Essendon future first & 40 for 24 (or whatever it is now)
2. 24 for Essendon 28 & 40
3. Take Dodson

WC could take Shanahan at pick 26. That's Essendon's worry.

Option 2 could see us taking Dodson at 28 and trading 40 out for a future 2nd.

If you read carefully i said the ones we tried so which ones we tried ohh I guess i can tell you Fos Smith Langford. It's like all the others we had over the years the saabs dunkleys durhams and the list goes on we opted for dow sonsie rcd and so on and so on. It’s no coincidence we bring in sepell who specialises in acls and hamstrings and take some high risk high reward types. We finally have a proper head of fitness that can get these kids right.

Yep I’ve never seen a player recover from an early age acl. That Matty Richardson fella from 30 years ago might have been a decent player had he not done his knee.

Been told we’ve followed Jonty Faull for decent amount of time. Well before this year.
Was rated as one of if not the highest KPF coming into this year and battled through this year with injury. Still kicking 27 goals from 11 games.
Kicked 4 in GWV first final and 5 in the prelim. Took 4-5 huge contested marks in the grand final.
Isn’t just a huge contested marking target…also a real defensive beast and is by far the hardest working KPF in this draft class when the ball hits the ground inside 50.

Very happy with the haul. Would've liked another quick classy running type or two but can't fill every need in one draft even with all those picks.

He was a freak even the acl couldn't stop him. But different game now it's so fast and if you look so many players going down not with one acl but multiple. Game is just to hard on players and when they are doing it in nappies well doesn't go well. Young ones with concussions also don't have a good record. We somehow went against the trend and out of 6 picks we snared 4 with major problems. The more I look at it the sicker I feel and my hope of a resurrection is lost lol.
