Fair enough if you have them already, but if trading Grundy now is your most pressing issue, the rest of your team must be pretty good.

I'll wait til the bye, but it was in response to scrads12 who really does have a very good team!!!
Any suggestions on trades this week?

Def- Sheezel, Whitfield, Young, Yeo, D’Ambrosio, Z.Williams (Howes + Reid)
Mid- T.Green, Bont, Steele, N.Martin, Crouch, Bonner, Roberts, McKercher (Sanders, Clark)
Ruck-Gawn, Grundy (Barnett)
For- Heeney, Powell, Fisher, Jordan, Reid, Gallagher (Cadman, Wilson, Campbell)

26k in bank

Whats Wilson (St K) job security like?

Flip flopping between him and Reid as a trade out.
Reid JS as good as it gets but at least Wilson has shown a ceiling (all be it in a PS game) that could pop a score that gets cash moving better. But if he were to get dropped then that means nothing and then Reid being on the park gives him best opportunity.

I think Saints fans seem pretty happy with Wilson, unlikely to lose spot any time soon.

Any of the rooks could get a rest at any point, even Reid, but that won't be for a while yet.
After this week you have 2 further best 18 rounds so I am going for players with higher ceiling, even if less consistent.

Yep... I wish my decisions were that hard. The main players missing are Serong and Zerrett, but with no DDPs in his/her MID line, the upgrades there will need to wait for new DPPs to drop. Could get any/all of Martin, Roberts and McKercher gaining DPP.

For this week, could look at H. Reid and Fisher to Flanders and a fresh rookie, putting Cadman on field for a week, then moving on Jordan and/or Williams the week after when Jordan has his bye and can rest up after feasting on West Coast.

yeah a rest is fine, its finding self out of the side or worse yet in/out of team + starting sub that youd want to avoid.
Ive leant back to trading Reid and keeping Wilson unless I hear something in coming days that cnages it. Even the fact Reid is an extra 30k value currently helps as you never know if next week that could be the difference etween the trade ou want to do and not

That’s a lot of change

Parnell could be a sneaky pick if you need a cheap defender this week. Slots right into Milera's spot. Scored 100 and 77 last season in full games and a 0 and 1 score from early injury and being a substitute to bring his average down massively.

Probably should wait and week and see, but I need a cheap defender this week and might roll the dice with him.

I don’t have much faith in Parnell as a player

I suspect with the changes that he does take Mileras role and nankervis shols wing but It’s worth noting Nankervis can also play off half back so it’s not like he has a clear shot at that role and could easily find himself rotated out of team/subbed off

Deliberating on whether trading Salem out is a bigger priority than getting Thomas in this week. Salem a definite trade by his bye, but can't decide if the upside of Thomas is better than the potential downside of Salem.

First trade will be Wines to Touk and have the cash to get Salem up to any defender still.

what about wines -> thomas via some dpp ?
then salem -> whoever

Trading Reid just looks wrong even though I get why.. It's a BE game.

But still, trading Reid for $362k the #1 draft pick.
To a small forward who's had 3 scores this year and 2 below 35... for only $97k.

I'm thinking Campbell can go first given he's similar priced to Reid and only scoring 55's anyway. Bye in Rnd6 so he's only got 2 games left in him max before he goes.

Reid might be a good hold/slow burn option?

I wouldn't trade Campbell before the WC matchup in R5, should have a day out.

Still have time to get Thomas next week. Best 22 this week, I would be upgrading Salem if possible

I missed Sheezal and Green but am doing OK without them.

My plan id to bring them both in after their rd12 bye as I think that is a time for non-owners to catch up.

Other rd12 players that are highly owned......Whit, Heeney, Xerri, Powell, Grundy, Roberts, McKercher.

So not having two premiums missing that round could be a big advantage
Yeah, I'm steering clear of Rd 12 bye players now too (unless I bring Zorko in this week, he'll be the last one). Green/Whit can wait until pre Rd 13.
