It was obviously a hole on our list we wanted to fill.

I don’t believe ZZ projects as a 3rd tall. I believe he’s projected to be an athletic Fullback, lock down defender type.

If you look at last year and next year, we've got four early-ish prospects bound to us and all are mids. Might as well stack lottery tickets this year when we've got some free picks to take.

Not to mention 2025, our best academy kids look to be a mid, halfback and small forward, with a lot of the others also being mids and outside types.

Agreed Twomey usually gets our picks wrong except for last year but that was probably our easiest year to pick for us

I was kind of hoping that a big Melbourne club drafted at least one of them. They say that they are happy, take on a lot of endorsements, but as soon as the first contract is up they say they must be traded back to Queensland and only to the Lions (ok, maybe the Suns).

No because so many people at the club and outside the club have been talking for ages that he’s coming to the club. To me it doesn’t even seem like it’s anywhere in doubt but perhaps I’m wrong.
