2024 Grand Final registration reminder

The AFL Event Office has cancelled the barcodes of a range of corporate hospitality tickets just days out from the grand final after its portal was hacked.

The event office handles corporate tickets – the smallest allocation for the grand final at the MCG on Saturday. Those involving Before the Bounce, Crown Grand Final Breakfast, Grand Final Plus Pass, Hassett Room, Ultimate Nobu, and Ultimate Suite packages have been impacted.

Yep, happened to mine. Waiting for the new Barcode.

We were lower level NN can't remember the section last year
That was 50 rows back and not good seats in my opinion

Undercover Seating

Due to the difficulty in accurately classifying any seat at the MCG as "undercover", even though there is a roof overhead in some sections of the ground, patrons cannot be guaranteed protection from the elements.

Yeah nah i just don’t think this is true. Calling a post on facebook a fact seems a stretch too.

Only way I can see P2’s missing out AND P3’s getting a ticket is either were in a big group registering, and there were no tickets left for that many in a group when their time came for allocation (meaning everyone else in the group missed out), or they didn’t tick ‘accept standing room’ (meaning same thing, the whole group missed out). Otherwise I can’t see how P2’s missed out and P3’s scored a ticket.

I was P2 and ticked accept standing room. Missed out.

I’ve got two corporate tickets from afl events. When they resend the barcodes they will be available. Embarrassingly purchased when hopeful of taking my son to the game when Carlton looked a chance.

Hi - how much roughly would these be?
I have two standing tickets already but looking to upgrade to seating tix. PM me if you prefer, thanks

Probably a cautionary tale in there for P2's for next year if trying to purchase more than 2 ticktes. ;)

Perhaps only buy in blocks of two tickets even if it means not sitting with your extended group so you all get to go.

Not sure if there is logic in that, but it could be why some P2's missed out and P3's git in, just a theory.

Hey Pinnell if your tickets are still available can you send me a DM with how much you are selling them for.

Any Melburnians know the best places to go pregame? Walking in from the city last year was good fun but would love to soak in a bit more Lions energy this year. Do the pubs in Fitzroy deck out for the Lions?

Likewise after the game.. ended up having our ears chewed off last year by Pies supporters at the Casino telling us how brave we played.

Hi everyone new here and I know this is a long shot but just wandering if anyone is selling either a single ticket (seated or standing) or 2 x tickets together? I got a ticket with my membership but my partner is not a lions member so wasn’t able to get one and I don’t fancy going by myself haha.

Neither are in Fitzroy, but the Cricketers opposite Punt Road oval will be rocking, as will the Royal Richmond, also opposite Punt Road oval, different kinda rocking though (the blinds are pulled down every hour or so for 10 minutes). Both are across the road from the G.
