NZ comprehensive.

58 run win over India. Fair to say not many people saw that coming. That loss is a disastrous start to the tournament for India.

They've taken a smashing in their NRR with that loss

Pre tournament one would have suggested Australia & India as the teams to go through from the group stages - and we know a lot can happen across the group matches, but suddenly New Zealand have put themselves in a very good spot to advance through

Based on opening on performances, Sri Lanka and Pakistan can also give them a game in the group stages. The problem I believe with India is too many of their top players believe in their own ego. Harmanpreet Kaur could get the sack from the Indian captaincy should they fail to qualify out of group stages. And Melbourne Renegades and any WBBL team can now see the risk of picking her up in the current WBBL season.

Game 5:

Australia Women (Playing XI): Alyssa Healy(w/c), Beth Mooney, Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner, Phoebe Litchfield, Tahlia McGrath, Annabel Sutherland, Georgia Wareham, Sophie Molineux, Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown
